Motivx Tools 36mm Low Profile Oil and Fuel Filter Socket

Hard to get excited about a socket but this is really nice. Even the box is nicer than most of the junkI get from Amazon. If you have a plastic housing with a paper oil filter you need this. The 6 point won't risk rounding off the plastic nut and being 3/8" drive allows better access as most normal 27mm sockets are 1/2" drive. Outstanding product

The quality of this individual socket is absolutely outstanding. The finish on the socket is almost jewel-like. The manufacturer obviously takes pride in their products. Because this SINGLE SOCKET comes in the closest thing to a jewel box that a tool could possibly be presented. The quality is not only visual. But the quality is physical as well. I wish every tool in my inventory was made with such quality.

This is just what I needed for my oil change. The item came just in time today and I was able to change my oil in about 15 mins. I no longer have to take my vehicle to a dealer and spend money on doing an oil change. This item comes in a really nice box and just feels premium when you open it. I used this item to do an oil change in a 2012 Mini Cooper.

I haven't had the chance to use it yet, but it appears to be a top quality socket. Packaging in it's own foam lined box adds a nice touch, but the socket will probably end up in my tool box to save space and easy access. Bottom line is that I'm glad I bought it....appears to be of very high quality and the price was reasonable.

Finding a quality low profile socket is hard enough for 1/2" drive. This socket is a bit pricey, but you do get what you pay for! It removed the stuck bolts with ease and saved my knuckles doing it too! I'd say that's a win right there. Its probably cheaper to buy a whole set of low profile sockets, but when you only need 1 its hard to justify that type of cost.

Bought this to change the oil in my 2012 Porsche 997.2 TTS (911 Twin Turbo). Perfect fit!!! The socket’s depth is good too. A 3/8” drive extension does not go past the socket’s receptical like others I’ve purchased. For the price of $11.00, you can’t go wrong. Beats paying a Porsche dealership $200.00 to change the oil. Yes, $200.00.

This socket has some weight to it, so I'm assuming it's durable. I bought it to change my oil and fuel filters - fits those perfectly. It comes packed in its own little box with foam, so you feel like you're getting something special.

I have a 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt.This works great. I have a 1 1/4" socket that is is big and bulky--it fit my other cars oil filter and cleared the hose, but not the 2009 Cobalt. The clearance for the oil filter for my 2009 Cobalt is minimal--there's a hose right in the way.I included a picture showing the height of the socket is about 3/4".I hope this helps with your buying decision.It worked great. I could use the socket to get the filter out to the point I could use my hand.

Using it as tool to remove the oil filter cap on a GM 2.4l. Don't mess around with anything else. If you are doing your own filter changes, buy this tool!

Use this on our 2016 Polaris Slingshot oil filter. Works well.

Cool tool, works well to remove oil filters. I wouldn’t recommend this for axle nuts. I repeat, do not use for axle nuts! It will snap.

Now i"ll be able to do my own oil change!!!Perfect fit!!!
