My pool is always completely clear and I use minimal chlorine to keep it clear and stable. The filter does a great job in removing small particles that cloud the water.With the onset of fall, the amount of debris falling and blowing into the pool increased dramatically. I decided to treat the pool with the enzyme before covering it for the season. I did not notice any change in clarity, but there was a higher amount of residue than usual on the bottom after 2 days, which the automatic pool cleaner swept up. I suspect that the efficacy of this enzyme treatment is dependent on the level of impurities in the water, and if there aren't a lot of suspended particles in the water for flocculation to occur, you won't notice a major difference.

We have an 18x9 above ground pool, and after a violent hail storm was filled with leavevs I scooped the bulk of leaves out, added 10 oz of this enzyme and ALL THE GREAN WAS GONE AND POOL WAS CLEAR TO THE BOTTOM… 4hours on circulate.

We've got a small (1100G) backyard pool and I'm always looking for ways to help keep the water clear. I decided to give this a shot - hoping it would help retain the chlorine levels and keep the chlorine from burning off so quickly - I'm just not sure it did that. I made the mistake of buying non-stabilized chlorine, but had enough of it that I didn't want to throw it out and buy the correct stuff. I didn't notice any difference in my chemical retention on the weeks I used theses enzymes vs. the weeks I didn't. Maybe it's more important for a larger pool or a hot tub/spa, but on my small pool, I just don't feel they are necessary.

It's no better or worse than the other enzymes I've used. My package came opened but I was still able to use a majority of it. It kept my pool clean and clear.

Worked exactly as expected and helped balance out my pool! Thank you for a great product!

CAused pool to foam. Not recommended.
