Great litter tray deodoriser and cleaner
Great litter tray deodoriser/cleaner, wouldn't use any other one. We bought this to help with cleaning the litter trays and it works great. You simply spray this on the emptied litter tray and leave for 15-20 mins then wipe down and the tray is back to smelling fresh again with no residue left behind. Our cats are quite good and aren't fussy at all, but be aware that it does have quite a noticeable smell to it (its a nice smell) so be aware of that if you have a cat that's fussy with smells!

The smell is gone!
This product works incredibly well. I only sprinkled a light dusting in and the difference is unbelievable. I can't smell it at all. Wish I found this sooner!

Nice but too expensive
Actually was impressed by this litter freshener.Contents is very fine, almost dust like, so you have to be careful when sprinkling it.Smells very nice & did work, however the bottle doesn't last long at all & in my opinion it's way too expensive.Paid over £5 for this.Should be more like a £2 product.I would buy again but it would have to be on a special offer!

I would recommend
A little was all I needed to freshen up my cats litter tray.I did spray the surrounding area a little to freshen it up also and it did help mask the lingering cat litter smell. My cat doesn’t seem to notice it or if she does she doesn’t mind.I didn’t notice anything either after I sprayed the carpet so it’s not sticky, coloured or bleaching.I did get some on my hand and it didn’t burn or anything.I plan to use it to clean the litter tray before rinsing it just to get rid of any smell. It’s not a strong smelling freshener so it does disappear quickly but it’s a kind of floral almost light laundry soap smell. Not sure how long it will last but I seem to only need a few sprays a day so far.

My cat’s litter box, now a scent-free zone.
I bought Simple Solution Cat Litter Odour Eliminator because, let’s be honest, my cat’s litter box was starting to smell like a science experiment gone wrong. I was pretty sure my cat was living in a toxic waste zone. I needed something that would tackle the smell without making it feel like I was working with hazardous chemicals myself.Enter Simple Solution. I sprayed this magical liquid and—BOOM!—the litter box area smells like… well, let’s say it no longer smells like a landfill on a hot day. It actually neutralizes the odor instead of just masking it, like those air fresheners that leave you wondering if you’re about to walk into a tropical rainforest or a field of flowers after a downpour. No, this stuff just works. Now, the only thing I’m sniffing when I enter the room is a gentle, fresh scent, and my cat is still doing her thing without creating a stinky scene. I don’t know how it works, but it does—and I’m here for it.If you love your cat but hate the smell of their litter box taking over the house, this is the product you never knew you needed. Highly recommend!

Pricey but pretty effective with smelly litter trays.
We moved last year to a housing development and this meant that we no longer were surrounded by fields for our feline babies to roam in. We have a garden, but at their age we're not comfortable leaving them out at night. This of course means we have had to start using litter trays - two to begin with, and we're now down to one.It constantly amazes me how much waste two 16 year old cat pensioners can make, and that comes with the smell. Despite changing frequently and using a wood based biodegradable litter that's supposed to absorb smells, it can still give you that paranoia that people are going to come to your house and think it smells like an old ladies cat sanctuary.I looked around at various options - plug in air fresheners, scent boosts and neither really worked. I then looked to see if there was anything you can add directly to the litter. Seems to be a couple of options a powder and sprays like this item. This is pretty good. The bottle (500ml) has a couple of spray options like most - I prefer the misty option because it gives a wider spread to coat the whole tray. The scent is fresh and quite pleasant. It's not overpowering. I tend to remove any solids and clumps of litter, then spray 5 or so times over the litter, I then stir it in with the scoop to coat more of the litter and spray a further 5 on top. This method seems to be the most effective way I've come across so far. It doesn't seem to deter the cats at all either. I think they seem to quite like it - better than the alternative I suppose! It is pretty expensive. I think I paid £5.99 per bottle - it doesn't last forever either. A month - two at a stretch. That said, I think it's definitely worth the price considering the alternative is to have a house everyone politely declines to come to in fear of smelling the wrath of the cat's anus.Overall, easy to use. Effective and smells good to boot. Not a lot to complain about. Would just prefer to see this around £4 a bottle I think that would represent much better value for money.
