This knife is very well made has brass inserts an pins in handle which gives it a nice weight an is also balanced very well . It has a nice Damascus pattern on blade an the blade is definitely sharp out of the box I normally sharpen most new knives mostly because I can get them sharper than the factories normally do however I didn't find it necessary to sharpen it since it already had a nice edge . The included leather sheath also carries very well I'm able to keep it on the back of my belt an it is low profile enough that it doesn't bother me even when sitting down. The added sharpener is a nice feature to it is small enough to carry with u if u need to touch up the edge so all an all this knife is comparable with most of the more expensive brands and is also very pretty so for the money I say this is a good choice for sure I have always carried a knife on my side for many years and this knife carries well an is a good all round blade it's not to big but not to small an is very comfortable in my hand
