I am incredibly happy with this purchase. If you’re looking for a very small form factor to add smart capabilities to a device with no neutral wire, this is perfect. I was able to fit two of them into a single gang space with a dual rocker switch (very, very tight fit but… it worked). My specific installation was to solve two light switches from different circuits, no neutral on either, in a single gang box. There are many dual switch solutions available if both switches are on the same circuit, I have found none that work with separate circuits (and I have been looking for years). Another requirement I had was the switch needs to work with no smart connections as well - it needs to function as a dumb switch if the smart connectivity is down. My initial test worked perfectly. I used the wiring diagram from the Sonoff website for “Wiring with One External Switch Control” where the rocker switch connects S1 to S2 (not the option where S2 connects to L in). I am using Home Assistant and the Sonoff device was immediately detected from about 40 feet from the base (I often find I need to get close to the base for initial pairing) and the pairing process worked seamlessly. And the best part is, the rocker switch did exactly what I had hoped - it turned into a toggle switch (so whatever state the light is in, the switch will toggle it). I was concerned that the switch could turn into an override (e.g. if the switch is off, smart functions don’t work). I love this device and will likely use it to give smart capability to a few devices that I assumed would never be online.

I installed this with my old no-neutral light switch in under 15 minutes, and it works flawlessly with my SmartThings hub. Previously, I used Zigbee light bulbs because I couldn't replace the switch due to the lack of a neutral wire. However, those bulbs often lost connection with the hub. Since switching to this device, I haven't experienced any connection issues and can now use regular light bulbs, which are much easier to replace.

Works for the most part. Sometimes disconnects but later reconnects on own.

i've used these to make my home smart w/ home assistant. couldn't be any easier to wire these up behind switches. no neutral is great. only difficulty is that some of these may be big for the box and you'll need to stuff these back when closing up the box. if you are having difficulty with connecting to your zigbee network, make sure your switch plate is not metal..... i had a switch plate that was metal and was not able to get a reliable connection. switched to plastic and it works great.

I have spent almost 3 hours trying to set up this product. Unfortunately, it does not connect to the gateway or Wi-Fi. I have watched several videos and checked comments on Amazon and YouTube, but it still won't connect. I do not recommend this product.

Worked perfectly to convert two switches from dumb to smart. I really like the setup of having the relay control the light, while the physical switch becomes a physical input to the relay. It means that any one in my family can still walk up the switch and control the light. While others have complained that it screws up the "up is on and down is off" muscle memory, we have so many 3 way switches in our house that we're used to just toggling switches in either direction to toggle the state. As others have mentioned, it can be a little tough to get a tight grip on the wire. It feels like the sweet spot is right at the threshold of being too loose or going too far and breaking it. So far I got both to work OK, but I don't think they'd hold up to uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times.

This is a good solution for inductive loads as long as they are not too big (<6A). It does what it's supposed to do. Some thinks go keep in mind: 1. this is not UL listed. I left it outside the junction box for a few days to make sure that it does not overheat (it didn't). 2. the length of wire that the terminals were designed for is too short for comfort. It works but I'd like to see the stripped wire go deeper into the unit. 3. It wasn't terribly easy to have it recognized by my HA hub (SmartThings). The QR code on the unit is not recognized in the SmartThings app and I had to add the device manually. So overall a good little device that complements available Z-wave smart switches (many of which do need a neutral wire and are not usable for inductive loads), but it has its limitations.

La aplicación de eWeLink necesaria para operar este aparato deja mucho que desear en términos de seguridad e integración.

No funcionaron, lo intente de mil maneras instalando la aplicación en diferentes dispositivos y en diferentes sistemas operativos pero nunca los reconoció ni los logro encontrar la Aplicación. Incluso lo intenté en casas de otros compañeros pero nada. Vi tutoriales de todo tipo referente a este modelo y nada. NO LO RECOMIENDO.
