Saved our home.
My daughter overcooked a plastic container in the microwave. It caught on fire and she could not reach it in the back of the over the stove. She kind of shoved the blanket up into the microwave and the flames immediately stopped. Much better than a fire extinguisher. The only down was that she got bad skin itching. Otherwise it is a great product and probably saved our house.

You should have this in your kitchen
If you've seen any of the videos for similar brands, then you've got to know these would be handy in an emergency. There are so many types of fires, you need to be careful how to attack one... but they all have one thing in common: oxygen. Smother it.We got extras to give to our kids. Thankfully, we haven't had to use it so we can't comment on effectiveness.
