The thickness is as I expected, and it's very good quality. I just wish there was a way to peel off the paper backing so I can carve it, but it works well for many other things.

I was looking all over for a foam of roughly this thickness without paper backing, for surface modeling on miniatures. This is exactly what I was looking for, and probably overlooked it a dozen times before finally reading the reviews and seeing that one that said it has no paper backing. While some people may see that as a drawback, to me that's an enormous selling point. This is great stuff, and will now be one of my go-to craft supplies.

These are great for vision boards. The biggest problem is that they come in a plastic bag and can easily get bent and damaged in transit.

I am a quilter and love these for helping lay out my blocks. I can stack the boards with my blocks on them to my sewing area as well add some felt and carry my projects back and forth to class. They are rigid but light and it keeps me so organized. Great quality and value. It was money well spent.

I needed to put together a couple signs for a client's business. Printed out 11 x 14 photos and used spray adhesive to attach them to these. Put a couple holes in the top, and used suction cup hangers to put them in the store windows.

Quality is great. Its sturdy and the exact thickness i needed. Kinda pricey for what it is but it did get the job done.

Little lighter than I expected, but good enough easy to cut

Used this for a vision board and they came out wonderful. 1 of the boards was slightly dented but its okay.
