A Great Upgrade with Room for Improvement
I recently purchased the TicWatch Pro 5, and I must say, it's a fantastic smartwatch that comes with notable improvements over its predecessor. I've been using it for a couple of weeks now, and I'm genuinely impressed with its performance and features. The inclusion of the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 chipset ensures snappy performance and smoother multitasking. The responsiveness and speed of this watch are noticeably improved compared to the previous model, making it a pleasure to use.One of the standout features of the TicWatch Pro 5 is its exceptional battery life. With the dual-display technology, combining an AMOLED screen and an FSTN LCD display, the battery life has been significantly extended. I have never run out of battery during these weeks, and I am sure the battery will last more than 5 days if you use the essential mode during the night. Incredible for a smartwatch.Another additional change of the TicWatch Pro 5 that I find quite handy is the crown's ability to enable zooming in and out within maps and various applications. This intuitive control allows for precise navigation and enhances the overall user experience. It's a thoughtful addition that further streamlines interaction with the watch and makes accessing information a breeze. Whether you're exploring a new city or simply browsing through apps, the crown's zoom functionality adds a layer of convenience that I truly appreciate. The health and fitness tracking capabilities of the TicWatch Pro 5 are also impressive. The built-in heart rate monitor, sleep tracking, and step counter provide valuable insights into my daily activities and overall well-being. The accuracy of the sensors is commendable, and the accompanying Mobvoi app is user-friendly, making it easy to monitor my progress over time. While the TicWatch Pro 5 is undoubtedly a solid device, there are a couple of areas where it could be improved. Firstly, I would love to see the inclusion of wireless charging. Although the magnetic charging dock works well, having the convenience of wireless charging would be a game-changer, especially for those always on the go.In conclusion, the TicWatch Pro 5 is an excellent smartwatch that brings substantial improvements over its predecessor. The performance, battery life, and health-tracking features make it a worthwhile investment for tech-savvy individuals. If you're looking for a reliable and feature-packed smartwatch, the TicWatch Pro 5 won't disappoint.

Lightning fast, Well built, Competitively Priced - What's not to like!
I've had the TWP5 now for a few weeks so I think it's about time to give it a proper review.First things first, I'm a serial TicWatch owner, I have (and to some extent still use) an: S2, a Pro 2020, a TWP3 Ultra and now the TWP5. You could say that makes me a bit bias, but it also places me in a good position to review their latest offering. Now, this thing is a cracking piece of kit, it's fast (like Smartphone speed of responsiveness), it's stylish, it's solid and it's got some ridiculous battery life. All that whilst still being very competitively priced.I've regularly got 3 days battery life out of it, that's with all the sensors running 24/7 and also running Sleep as Android every night. It's step count seems to be accurate when compared to my other devices and my phone. The haptic feedback seems to have been improved over previous incarnations. It runs WearOS 3 without any struggles and syncs regularly to my phone. (I can't say I miss Google Assistant, I didn't use it that much anyway but that's not a TicWatch decision, Google took that out of everyone's hands)I've been using the same tempered glass screen protectors from my TWP3 Ultra as (despite what the specs look like online) they have the same sized screen. The only slightly sad thing is that the watch band size has changed from 22mm to 24mm meaning that all my previous 3rd party bands aren't compatible, but I found a decent one on Amazon (see photos) which is holding up really nicely. My only slight niggle is that you have to use a new Mobvoi App which doesn't have previous data from my other devices in it. However, I've been in touch with Mobvoi support and they've offered to sync it all over for me as part of the upgrade for the TWP3 Ultra (whenever that happens).Overall, a really impressive piece of kit, I haven't used it for any fitness tracking yet because I prefer to use my older (read: "far less expensive to replace") devices for that, but I can't fault it.

A good Android watch but no updates and sensors work spotty
I used to love this watch due to its great battery life, dual screen and good performance. However, the build quality is terrible. The heart rate sensor on the first watch broke in the first 5 months due to sweat ingress from going to the gym. Bear in mind that it is advertised as swim proof, but sweat destroys its heart rate sensor. The manufacturer did not recognize Amazon as legit seller and did not repair or replace the watch. Luckily, Amazon customer service allowed me to return it to them and refunded me.I bought a second one, which is worse than the first one. It cannot track my sleep at all, it has four-hour breaks in my sleep when it works, at other times, it just does not record sleep at all. I tried wearing anything from loose to tight, but the sleep monitoring was always spotty. Now I bought a 22.5£ Xiaomi Band 8, which works amazing at sleep and health tracking. It literally outperforms the 10 times more expensive TW5 at everything relating to health monitoring and the app is much better made. TW5 is a good smartwatch, but not a health tracker, and its build quality is bad because the heart rate sensor is not insulated enough.
