Happy that I bought it
It’s small, looks neat, it’s not as heavy as I thought it would be. Easy to move around with the wheels and to install and put it together.I wish the power cable would be much longer, is just about enough, You need to have socket next to the window or use extension. Hose itself is extendable, but also could be tiny bit longer. It isn’t quiet, you will definitely notice it working but it’s not overwhelming. You can get used to it during the day. Most people won’t be able to use it during the night tho. Cool the bedroom before you go to sleep is the way to go. It’s too loud the sleep with it on. It’s also the same loudness if you not using AC but e.g. just a fan, which I don’t quite understand.Performance wise is very good or alright, depending where you gonna use it. I have kitchen with living room together (29sqm) with 2,3m height and it cools it but with a lot of effort. On mildly hot day (24C outside) it took 2 hours to go from 26 to 23 ( AC set to 16).But also it may be to me having casement windows with just had some fabric for hose insulation, which is as effective as the bar for sliding windows. Plus I can fully close my blinds while the windows are open which fights with effectiveness of the unit.In the bedroom tho (18sqm) does the job very very well. Was 23C outside, 25.5C inside and it made bedroom 18C in just over an hour. And it just had the hose outside the window, no seal (the fabric one is such a pain to install on casement widows opening inwards). So yea, if you room is is over 25sqm it may take some time to lower the temperature. Under that and with easy heat extraction it will work brilliantly. But very happy with the product. And it costs just over £200! Just fab, fab, fab!

Gamechanger!
Yes it's loud - louder than advertised, the Db level given was slightly off for the model that arrived - but they all are, and in a heat wave I won't care. We set it up in a good sized double bedroom and set it to 21 on a day when it was around 28 outside, reaching 31 indoors in south facing rooms. It cooled very well. Walking out of that room felt like getting of a plane on your summer holiday. It makes a very good difference to the room and if you're personally a bit sweaty standing in front of it is a dream. It is wheelable but the weight means you'd probably want to keep it on one floor of your home. The quality is excellent and the controls are great, offering lots of choice. Being able to use your remote or mobile to switch it back on at night is a plus, just be aware your partner is very likely to wake up (think small plane taking off next door) and you need to have discussed aircon behaviour beforehand.I paid £377 and think it was worth every penny. It's gone up since and I'd probably be happy with that too. I thought about buying a second one for the lounge but that feels a little indulgent as we have to think about the space balance (central London home). The window kit was fine, but on old metal windows it does pull the paint off. That's ok for us as we've painted them ourselves and will happily do so again when we move, but if you are thinking you can put the window kit up and down regularly rethink that if you have painted metal windows. The size is what it is. You need a space for it, and one that's well set up to allow the air to circulate, but it's no bigger footprint than say a large hoover.Overall I think it's an excellent purchase and even having had one minor week of heat it's paid for itself in comfort. When the usual big summer week of 30+ degrees weather hits I'll be the smuggest I've ever been.

Brilliant Portable Air Con Unit
I recently purchased this air conditioning unit and I have to say it has completely transformed my summer. On the lowest fan setting and set to 20°C it cools my medium sized room in just 20 to 30 minutes. With the door shut the cool air stays locked in making the space feel refreshingly comfortable even during the hottest part of the day.The controls are incredibly straightforward. Pairing it with the remote was effortless and connecting it to the app was just as simple. I particularly appreciate how intuitive the interface is meaning I can change settings quickly without any confusion. In terms of noise I find it perfectly acceptable. It is not silent but I personally enjoy a bit of white noise when I am relaxing or sleeping so the gentle hum actually feels soothing. That said noise tolerance can be subjective so others might feel differently. My only real criticism lies in the setup process. The instructions were poorly written and lacked detail which made assembling the seal around the door much more difficult than it should have been. The accompanying video did not help much either as it skipped over key parts of the process leaving me to figure out certain steps myself. It took me about an hour to get everything installed which was frustrating. The exhaust tube setup was another sticking point as attaching it to the plastic exhaust fittings was surprisingly fiddly and took some trial and error. That being said once the initial setup was done operating the unit became incredibly easy. Now that I know what I am doing reattaching the exhaust and getting it running again takes just a couple of minutes.Value for money is where this unit truly shines. I bought it on Prime Day for £180 which is a massive saving compared to its usual £450 price tag. Honestly even at full price I think it is worth every penny especially given how effective it is during the recent UK heatwave. It genuinely makes a huge difference to the comfort of my home.Overall this is an excellent air conditioning unit with powerful cooling performance simple controls and solid build quality. The only thing holding it back from a perfect rating is the unclear setup instructions. Once you get past that hurdle it is an absolute game changer for hot weather.
