Beautifully presented
I don't know a huge amount about wine so buying this for my boyfriend's birthday was a risk, but he absolutely loves it and said that it covers all of the main scents and has already taught him a lot about wine groups. True to that, after playing with this for a while, we went to a food fayre and he quickly and accurately identified a pinot noir by its manure and violet scents which impressed me! It has also been whipped out after dinner with friends, and everyone has enjoyed trying to guess the scent. So if you have a wine lover in your life, this is a little different than buying them a vine or a nice bottle for their birthday, and I can testify to it keeping them rather occupied for hours on end. It would also make a fantastic addition to a home wine tasting evening.
