Ariete Cleaning Robot 2711 Briciola/Robotic Vacuum Cleaner [Energy Class A]

I have had this vacuum robot for just under three month now and I love it.It is really easy to set up. It comes with a little remote that allows you to set a start time for it's cleaning regime.I have a one bedroom flat. Carpet in the bedroom, tiles in the bathroom and laminate flooring with a rug in the kitchen/ dining/ living area and this does 90% of my vacuum cleaning (I have birds and about once a week I will do a manual vacuum just to go under the sofa and in the far corners).Occasionally it get's stuck on wires as some other reviewers mentioned but this seems to be the only Achilles heel. I have a rug and it gets up and over the rug without any issues. It really is just the cables and since I make sure they are out of the way I didn't have any issues.When it first arrived I wasn't sure if it was up for the job to be honest as the dust container seemed quite small (and having birds there is a lot of empty husks and feathers around all the time) but it is big enough to accommodate a two hour vacuum round without an issue. I empty the dust container every evening (takes about 90 seconds and is very user friendly to do).What I like:- Really easy to use and reliable- A lot quieter than a normal vacuum- Very good clean, especially on tiles and lino/ laminate flooringWhat I don't like:- Every now and then it neglects it's cleaning schedule and even though it cleaned without fail for a few days the timer wants resetting. Only one push of a button, no real issue- The size... it is a lot bigger than I thought it would be when I ordered itAs this is my first vacuum robot I can't compare it to more expensive models but I am very happy with this model for my needs and would highly recommend a purchase! It makes my life a lot easier!

The cleaner worked well at first. I loved it. Switch it on, go to work and come back to a debris free downstairs ( large open plan area, ceramic and wooden floors) ready for mopping. Brilliant. But it stopped working well. I'd come home and the house would be dirty except for one small area. It stopped being able to navigate around objects and would get stuck in one corner of the room where previously it would have been able to navigate fine. It just went round and round and up and down the same few meters of floor. None of the actions advised to sort out any problems in the manual helped.I just let it sit there for a while then tried again. Same problem. I left it a while longer and tried again but it just stopped working altogether. This was in December. Due to family illness and bereavement I didn't get round to complaining until this week. I have tried to initiate a return through Amazon returns as the product is faulty, but it won't allow me to as it says the item is not eligible for a refund. But the cleaner should be eligible for a refund as it is not fit for purpose and failing to refund me contravenes my consumer rights. If you spend £168 on a product you expect it to work for more than five months. The company have failed to respond to communications within Amazon's 48 hour policy. I think it will be an uphill battle to get them to refund me. Due to appalling customer service I cannot recommend you buy anything from this company.

Brought this to replace my other robotic vacuum that is no longer turning on. Its still early days but so far so goodEDIT: Ive had this for just under a year and Im going to return it. The suction has become very poor, it no longer picks up cat hair/litter and cleans minimally

Did not expect much from a toy-sized 20W vacuum cleaner, but it proved me wrong. Cleans rather effectively and picks up a lot more dirt than I've expected. Clearly exceeded my expectations.Having observed it, looks like it keeps switching between three patterns. One pattern is perimeter cleaning, another is diagonal and the third is straight line up to the next obstruction. The perimeter mode is clock-wise only; I thought it might be better if it alternated between clockwise and anti-clockwise. Sometimes it seems to get into a repetitive pattern, never visiting certain spots.Some annoying features include flimsy brushes that where deformed on arrival because they were bent during packaging. They still work, and there is a spare pair.IR remote means you have to chase the darn thing in order to send remote commands. I would expect RF remote so you can control it while not in direct line of its sight.The brushes love to entangle themselves in long hair and any strings such as wires, threads and dental floss. Well, nothing is perfect.

This produkt worked very well for about 3 months. We have a large dog and it swept most of the dust and dog hair. Now it stop charging, the robot still trying to find a charging station, but as soon as it locates it, it reverse and "looking" for it again.

having had this for a week i thought ide write a review , it is so simple to set up using the remote controll simply set the current time and then the cleaning schedule time point at the robot and its done , brilliant uncomplicated , hoovers really well and the two rortating side brushes are very effective , the dust box is located ontop of the machine and easy to empty , overall a great effective excellent machine and a great price , i would definately recommend and would buy again.

Hat nach 10 Monaten den Geist aufgegeben, fährt nach 30 Sekunden in die Ladestation zurück.Vorher gut funktioniert, dann von einem Tag auf den anderen defekt.
