Fits in Tesla compartment beautifully. Provides the extra charger for the phones that will not charge by laying the phone in the charging dock. Love the little TESLA blue screen that lights up. Looks like the car came with that feature. Very fashionable and convenient to have. It is a very neat addition to the car.

This is a well designed product. It fits perfectly in my new 2025 Model Y. It has all the features that I was looking for to charge my Iphone in the front seat. Tesla wireless charger makes my iphone get so hot and the USB-C in the front is located inside the center console which makes it complicated to use a cable since the console sliding cover needs to be open and when you access stuff inside you tend to bend the usb C connection. The retractable cables are also well thought off and it has 2 options (lightning/UsbC) which works well for both me and my wife with our current phones.

This is so easy to install. Took all of 20 seconds to slip this in to the glove box and plug in two connectors. It looks factory finished, so yes it matched the center console. The cords pull out sufficiently but are a little fiddly if you have fat fingers.

Lets just address the elephant in the room; the blue light... There does not seem to be a way to turn off the light on the unit, but there is a black insert you can use, however that does not turn off the electric draw. I liked the idea of the blue TESLA logo, but actually using it is a little different, I'm not 100% sure I like it. That being said, this light does turn off after your car is parked for 5 minutes or so. Then once you get in your car it turns back on. So its not like its going to sit overnight and phantom drain your battery.Build quality seems average and the color match of the Model Y refreshed console is pretty spot on. It does have one USB C cable and one Lighting cable that you can retract out of the unit. I find this cable to be VERY thin and can't really imagine it holding up for very long with heavy use. The cable also likes to get tangled when you are trying to retract it back in, you have to work with it a little to get it to retract fully.All and all, I think its decent for what you get. I do think there are other manufactures out there that might make a better product from the reviews I've read. However, I will only use this every now and then or for passengers, so it should work well for me. It should go without saying, but don't try to charge devices that want to pull a lot of power. The cables on this unit are pretty thin and would not be able to take a heavy load over a long period of time. I have a feeling this is why some people are showing blown out USB C ports. Don't try to charge a laptop for example...

This was probably a 5 for me until last week when I plugged my phone into it before starting a drive and all of a sudden the phone immediately started blaring for me not to charge it. I then see the USB c charger that game with the unit smoking and burst into flames for a second. I unplugged it and had to scrape some synged metal off my phone charging port for it to be able to function again and been seeing a lot of reviews recently where this is happens. Luckily I caught it right away and the telsa charging ports still work

Definitely was a bit skeptical given the relatively low price for what you were alleged to get in return.Pleasantly surprised! Super easy install. It does not support super fast charging (Samsung S22 Ultra) but does support fast charging which is great when on the road.The cords retract really nicely. The color of the unit perfectly matches the middle console so it looks great.Cons: only wish there was an option to change the color of or turn off the lit Tesla lettering. Other than that I really have no complaints.Highly recommend this product!

This charger fit in my 2023 model Y and it was definitely easy to install. The color match was perfect and this charger is a high-quality. This is definitely a good product for your money. This charger did have both retractable cords being for an iPhone 13, which was perfect for what I wanted.
