Is each panel 40" wide or is the the total width of the 2 together?

Hello, each panel is 40" wide, 80" totally in 2 panels.

can we smooth out the wrinkles by putting the curtains in the drier for a a few mins?

I wouldn’t put them in the drier due to the backing. I don’t think it would help. I used a steamer once they were hung.

Is there a big difference with the white color and the updated white?

Hello, they are the same in front curtains fabric. The difference between them is blackout lining. White color one is with gray color lining so the curtains may appear slightly grayish when hanging up so we update the liner which is more close to white to make sure curtains look white when hung up.
