Purchased for a Christmas gift for my Fiancé, it was a huge hit! We have an RV and do lots of camping, my soon to be mother-in-law liked it so much I bought her one for her birthday-its pretty kool camping/rv item.

Love this little lamp, especially the warmer color. Makes the mood while camping seem more comfy. I'm not a big fan of the super bright white LED lamps.

I already have a few retro styled lanterns from Pinsai and have been very impressed with them, so when I had the opportunity to try this one out, I jumped at the chance.This lantern is so simple to use, just push the button on the front in order to select the brightness intensity. The illumination is a spiraled LED that looks like a filament that has a warm light. This is a small and compact lantern that weighs only 9.25-ounces. I can’t tell if the globe is glass or plastic, but it seems like glass when I tap it, so be careful not to crack it.Pros:- The vintage styling looks wonderful, like the lanterns of the 1800’s.- Is has three illumination intensities: low, medium, and high, which gets up to 120 lumens.- The lantern is very sturdy and is made with a metal housing.- After the lantern or light has been illuminated for at least 10-seconds, you can turn it off with only one press of the button and you don’t have to cycle through every setting to turn it off.- It has a threaded tripod mounting hole on the bottom so that it can be affixed to a tripod or similar support.- Comes equipped with a hanging hook.- It is about 4.25-inches tall not including the hook, 4.5-inches wide at the top, and just over 3-inches wide at the base.- An internal 2500mAh Li-on battery is charged via a USB-C port, which is far superior to the outdated micro-USB cables that are common to so many other rechargeable lanterns.- Comes with supplied USB-A to USB-C charging cable.- The included manual says it is IPX4 waterproof and can be used in the rain, but don’t submerse it in water.- Battery lasts anywhere from 5-hours up to 12-hours depending on the brightness level.- One Indicator light by the charging port lets you know when the battery is charging and when the charging is complete. Red it is charging; green it is complete.Cons:- It takes around 3-hours to charge from empty.- I wish the charging cord could be stored in the lantern so that it couldn’t be easily lost or misplaced.- I don’t know if the internal rechargeable battery is replaceable If/when it dies one day, but I don’t see a way to access it and replace it.- The lantern does not come with a wall charger, although admittedly I don’t know of any lantern manufacturer that supplies them these days.- The manual indicates that you should not use the lantern when it is charging.Despite the minor cons, I really like this lantern. It really is a wonderful retro styled lantern that is admittedly a bit pricey will work very well both at home or at the campsite, as well as during power outages, and it looks great and illuminates a wonderful glow.

I got this lantern for my son to use at camp. He says it is bright and shines well into the darkness and the battery charges fast. I like the different modes and portability. Overall this is a great purchase

I was surprised to see how small this lantern was. When it arrived and charged at the beginning, I had trouble turning it, and only after shaking it a bit, it started working. The light is too dim for camping as a primary source but works well as outdoor table decoration.

I have not used it for camping yet but bring in Texas with a bad electric grid means the lights can go out at any time. This is way better than candles and flashlights! Fast charge and long lasting

As someone who uses camping lanterns both while camping, and for a variety of indoor purposes where adequate light isn’t available, I couldn’t wait to try this little retro “camping lantern.” After all, it looks cute, charges quickly and easily, the 3 different brightness settings are terrific for lighting versatility, and it’s described as “IPX4 Waterproof】The lamp shell is made of metal materials, which are integrated in the factory for a strong and airtight structure It could protected against splashing water from all angle, Automobile painting process is adopted, suitable for outdoor activities in rainy or snowy day.”Sounds great! Except that when you receive the lantern and read the actual “Safety Instructions” enclosed with the product, it states, “Please use the lantern with caution in wet environments (e.g. bathroom) or floods. If the lantern comes into contact with water, please stop using it immediately.”It also states, “Do not touch the lantern with wet hands when charging to prevent an electric shock.”As a bonus, the “Maintenance and Care” directions clearly state, “Please do not immerse it in water; otherwise, it may cause a circuit failure.”To be clear, the statement that the structure “could” protect against splashing water from all angles leaves a bit of wiggle-room for whether or not this lantern can be used in wet conditions, such as camping in the rain, but the online product description claim that it is “waterproof” and "suitable for outdoor activities in rainy or snowy day" is in clear conflict with the products own user’s manual safety and care instructions.This may be a great rechargeable little lantern, but if the manufacturer’s own safety instructions say not to use it if it comes into contact with water, I would neither use it myself in that instance, nor chance allowing children to use the lantern unsupervised at any time. Overall a good lesson in the importance of reading enclosed product safety information.

This is a very cute high quality lantern.It is a metal construction that feels very solid.The light output isn’t super bright, but it closely resembles a fuel powered lantern.It gives a very nice ambiance with the warm dim light. At the highest brightness setting it is still possible to look directly at the light without getting blinded too much. There are three settings, low, medium and high.I can’t speak for the water ipx4 water resistance, but I would suggest making sure the rubber cover of the charge port is replaced tightly after charging.
