Right what i needed.

Good price on windlass remote
Works just as it should. Original one lasted 10 years before retractile cord covering deteriorated. But, continued to function even in that state.

Awesome quality
Comes with replacement receptacle, but copper contacts rather than tinned so wip out your dielectri grease and pack it and make sure to shrink wrap all contacts and pack with dielectric grease around the solenoid

No view of the plug end ... and its different! Totally and completely disappointing
This overpriced item is not described in the photos at all ... the pin configuration on this unit is, on the plug, is different then the original pin configuration and the pins are extremely fragile and broke off. Why would the pin con figuration be changed??? And why isn't a picture of the plug end available ?? Horrrible engineering (changing the pins) and selling (no photos or dicusssion of the pins). I tried to call to enquire about the pin configurations ahead of purchase with no luck. This is an expensive horribly engineered and worse yet, horribly described cproduct by this vendor. Could I give zero stars? Completely dissapointing.

I really like the fit and finish of the product
I really like the fit and finish of the product. Unfortunately, I have not been to my boat to try it out but judging from the appearance of the product, I expect it to work as advertised.
