I love this veg trug! Easy enough to build, sturdy and great quality. My veg has grown so well this year and I’m convinced it’s down to the trug. No bending as it’s a perfect height. Would highly recommend.

When these Trugs first appeared on the market, I thought they would just take up a lot of room for something that would be not much more than a toy. However, now that arthritis has set in big time, this Vegtrug has been a life enhancer! Gardening has become a pleasure again and although fairly expensive to buy,it's worth it.Fairly easy to assemble ( having two people would make it easier, but my husband managed on his own and it took about an hour ) The only important thing is that it should be assembled loosely at first until the final top boards are in place, then all screws can be tightened, otherwise the top will not fit.It seems to be of good quality and is already planted up with various winter veg and is great on the patio, not out of place at all. I would certainly recommend this product.

Generally very good and product, all screws provided were of same size.I would have given 5 stars but one panel was slightly warped and needed force to align it to the screws.Another minor problem was a panel slightly split when screw was turned tight.

Love this my trug, have since bought another. My husband put industrial castors on the side of the legs that can be put down so that it can be moved when required. It’s very heavy with the water and soil in. All planted up with various veg and they are taking off. Very exciting.

Its a good looking product and fits into our garden well and provides a good working height, it has been used for a variety of fruits and vegetables, beetroot, lettuce, strawberries etc.

Having read the reviews, after I placed my order - I know - I was a little concerned about the quality of the kit of parts but found no issues there. I would make a couple of observations. Firstly, there are two sizes of screw in the kit, you might not think so the way they are packed attached together on a cardboard sheet so watch that - PH2 size screwdriver needed for both sizes not Pozidrive. Secondly I decided to drill a pilot hole for each screw so the wood had less chance to split and that helped a lot. The bolts need a 19mm spanner or socket and the hammer is needed to bang the bolt head snug into the upright so there is enough thread showing the other side to fit the washer and nut. Lastly, if you are assembling one, when it comes to the penultimate stage (Page 4 of the instructions) of screwing the two end cheeks to the two long timber planks DO NOT tighten, DO leave a bit of a gap as it shows otherwise fitting it over the top of the, by now, standing base will be tricky. Also be careful to note the correct orientation of the long planks as they have a pre-drilled hole in one position AND you might go and put the printed 'VegTrug' upside down when you complete the assembly - I so very nearly did! If it lets me I will post some photos.

I bought this because it is more difficult for me to manage my garden beds due to arthritis. I just love this! It was easy to assemble, and has made gardening a joy again! Water readily drains through it , so I keep basins underneath to save it for watering other plants.

Arrived promptly & intact as a flat pack. It was very easy to assemble & I managed it on my own. I have filled the VegTrug with growing medium (takes approx. 420 litres) & have planted my Winter vegies. It all seems to be working well & is very sturdy. I also purchased the fleece cover & frame from elsewhere to protect the plants from frost. Overall, I'm very happy & satisfied with the VegTrug & would recommend it.

Greta quality garden bed. Easy to put together and I put it together myself in about an hour. Drains well and had held up over the last few months. Cedar wood smell is great and no fading so far.

Nach langer Suche habe ich mit diesem Hochbeet ein richtig tolles Teil gefunden. Sieht schön aus, ist sehr stabiel und richtig groß. Der Zusammenbau geht besser zu Zweit. Die Teile passen gut zusammen, nur ab und an ist ein Gummihammer nützlich und ein Loch musste ich bohren. Wer aber etwas praktisch veranlagt ist kommt gut zurecht. Auf youtube gibt es sehr gute Videos auf denen man sich den Aufbau ansehen kann...fand ich hilfreicher als die mitgelieferte Aufbauanleitung. Bin jedenfalls begeistert von meinem tollen Hochbeet.

I ended up buying 2! The planters are solid. I might buy another. It’s so easy to plant and all my plants are doing excellent!
