The media could not be loaded.  I am getting infested mostly by quarrels; however, a few rabbits and rats get into my backyard too. A friend told me about this one with really good specs and solar, and I had to get one to try. I was not disappointed; this one has worked out great. First off, very easy to install. The stake has three parts and can be three different heights; one extension works best for me. I turned in onto the highest setting and intensity, might as well, and it even charged up perfectly by the sun, too, and was up and running. Secondly, it works great. I can even see the rodents vear off away from the repelled, and even rabbits are heading in a different direction, and I was so happy actually to see that. Now with two, I have one on one side of the lawn and the other on the opposite side of the lawn. For a couple of weeks, having this for a month now, I have not seen any varments at all and could not be happier. Lastly, I am happy to say that these work on their own, and I have not had to charge these, not even once manually. No cons, it really worked out great for me, and I am very happy with the purchase.

Set up was easy and we haven’t had any evidence of deer in our yard since putting them in. We also immediately noticed the squirrels do not come up near the house anymore.Would recommend.

You only get 30 day warranty for a reason. The construction is flimsy. Out of 11 purchased, 1 started acting up the first week. No longer would chime on various settings and then 25% failed after 30 days. Then 50% failure rate ie after 60 days, even after charging every 5-7 days. Some no longer flash from radar, others just no response at all even at night. They do keep deer away when working, but the electronics make them useless. Waste of money. Buyer beware.

I've had skunks invading my yard every night for years. Whenever I blocked the holes under the fence where they were coming in, they just dug another one. Had to turn off motion detection on my Ring camera because seeing the videos every day was causing my anxiety to spike. Decided to try these Careland Ultrasonic Animal Repellers, but really wasn't expecting them to do much. Got them charged and set up in my yard and turned my camera back on. Three days after setting up, was still seeing skunks come through and they didn't seem affected by either the sound or the lights. Oh well. I'll leave them in for a couple of weeks and then return them. But after a couple of days more, I realized the skunks were gone. Three weeks later there has not been one instance of a skunk in my yard captured by my camera. They are still around b/c I'll get the occasional whiff of their spray somewhere in the distance. But I'm now less anxious about encountering one in my own yard. Only time will tell how long this peace will last.I was concerned if these were truly waterproof as they claim. There are a lot of seams in the plastic that could allow water in. However, about a week after I set them up, a rare tropical storm rolled through Southern California and doused us pretty good. These Careland Ultrasonic Animal Repellers are still functioning perfectly.

Because these are solar-powered, I don't even need to buy batteries because the sun does all of the job. If the weather is terrible, these can also be charged using the provided USB plug.These deter a variety of creatures, including deer, squirrels, and raccoons, which are my primary concern. They are simple to operate and even contain motion sensors that can activate a flame light to warn potential intruders to keep away. These are also waterproof, so rain will not harm them.

I just like the idea of that one of them stopped working after a rainstorm I can’t charge it again. It started beep beep, beep, beep, beep, and then did not work. I can’t solar charge or plug it in. The other one goes off when you walk by makes noises but doesn’t seem to scare the animals out of my yard.

These seem to be working very well. We have not had any issues with cats in our garden boxes since we got these.

I bought the two Careland solar animal repellers because we were having problems with raccoons killing our chickens. We had tried numerous other options, but nothing worked. After I installed the Careland repeller we noticed the raccoon activity around our coop almost totally went away. If they did come around they left quickly left after coming around the repeller. I know this because I have trail cameras that monitor the coop 24/7. I love the eggs from our chickens and these chickens are like children to my wife. I like the piece of mind of not having to deal with chickens being killed by these pests. I will be purchasing more of the repellers so i can have coverage around all 4 corners of the coop at night.The Careland Solar Animals Repellers are very simple to operate. Charge them before you set them out, adjust the settings for what you need and set them out. It's that simple!I highly recommend these repellers and will add more to the ones we already have purchased.
