Having said that it's a high quality made beltI didn't have any trouble returning the first twoYou'd think the manufacturer, especially since you're buying it online and can't see it in person would specify it's your actual waist size and not your pants size

Buying belts is hard. There seems to be no standard. I have several in my closet that say 38. I also measured the way the internet sources say. So I ordered a 38, received it timely, really like the look, feel, and quality. BUT, it was two inches too long, so I returned it and ordered a 36.

Great leather belt and quality workmanship. Perfect fit. Order one size larger than your waist size. I highly recommend it.

Listed as 40 size, but back of belt says 47 and then 1200mm ( which is 47 in). I also measured it, and it is 47 in, however is still fits. To build itself is high quality the leather seems decent, and for 12 bucks that's an excellent deal
