Phenomenal
I’ve previously used earplugs and earmuffs for hearing protection, but each have their drawbacks. I wanted something that would provide hearing protection for shooting, mowing, and power tool use, but also wanted something that would allow me to wear a hat and sunglasses for sun protection, so that rules out over the ear type solutions. These fit the bill perfectly! As a bonus, I love the ability to allow sound through, which makes it easy to hear instructions and conversation on the shooting range and such. On top of that, the Bluetooth connection and silicone ear tips makes these great for playing music and regular daily use. These are wonderful for a variety of uses, including shooting, mowing, power tool use, listening to music, hunting, etc. I love the pass through sound ability, which makes them great for hunting. Battery life is great. I used them for 2-3 hours hunting the other day, plus a few more hours since and haven’t had to recharge the case yet. Loud noises like gunshots are muffled to safe levels and I had zero pain or ringing during a 2-3 hour rifle range session. They stayed put without any issues falling out. I have small ear canals, so I was happy they had multiple size ear pieces. The only drawbacks are few and minor. As others have noted, they pick up on wind noise very easily, which results in hearing nothing but wind noise if it’s windy. But, in that situation, I’d just turn off the pass through and use them as earplugs. Perhaps future versions could figure out a way to mute wind noise, but for me, that’s a minor con in light of all the pros. I’d also love to see wireless charging like AirPods have, but again, a minor con. Lastly, in pass through mode, there is a bit of an imbalance towards treble sounds, making the sound a bit harsh. Not painfully harsh, but just not quite natural sounding. Again, I find this a minor con in light of all the pros. Overall, I’m absolutely thrilled with these and would highly recommend them.

Good indoor and outdoor shooting range hearing protection.
These earbuds provide very good protection on the range. I've used other electronic earbuds that were good at outdoor ranges but did not provide the same level of protection at an indoor range. The Xcor Pro earbuds do a very good job at indoor ranges as well as outdoor ones. It comes with Foam and Silicone tips. I know the foam tips are supped to provide a better seal and therefore better protection but i find the Silicone tips more comfortable yet they still do a good job at reducing the loud shots on the range. The case is slightly bigger than other buds I've used but still small enough to fit in your pocket. I do recommend these for shooting range hearing protection.

ear pro first everything else last
these arent at all good for every day use for construction or wearhouse use. this is for shooting and only shooting. 200$ is insane for the price considering they do not have active noise canceling any eq, nothing other then the defualt bluetooth codac and a cheap feeling case and earbuds that make the raycon's feel premium. sound signiture (the peaks and valley of the frequency spectrum) is so crazy i couldnt find a eq that works, these have very rashpy highs and almost no lows 30-120hz and mids feel very lacking like almost a V shape curve that makes music kinda horrible to listen to without any benefit of the v shape curve, being its pleasant to listen to for long periods and offers vocals first. took me by accident to find out how to find pass through so i can hear, it kinda sounds like a raidio, sounds like crumpling a paper bag or a ting of something metal hitting tile or granite makes a weird sound almost like it thinks its a gunshot. the bigger complaints i have, are no customization, weird controls, every time a battery is low IT WILL NOT GO 30 SECONDS WITHOUT TELLING YOU THE BATTERY IS LOW. THANKS FOR REMINDING ME the ask for 200$ is just not worth it. find dedicated ear pro when needed and just use older sony or raycon or beats to find a decent budget alternative that offers some level of blocking outside noise

Really like them but could use some improvements
Sound reduction works great. Bluetooth work well, phone calls I can hear them but they have a hard time hearing me. They stay in place and keep a tight seal but can be a little uncomfortable when worn for long periods of time. Sound enhancement is OK. Overall I really like them, just could use some improvements.

Lots of promise short on delivery
I bought these after much research and from the manufacturer. I would classify these as mostly promises and few deliveries. If all you are looking for is good hearing protection that allows you to listen to music and maybe hear normal stuff around you in a low noise environment- these check those boxes (and do it well). The things not done well - the Shooting/noise "canceling" : This is accomplished by simply cutting the mic off if a loud sound is heard.... like crinkling paper, someone closing the snaps near you, clapping, or any other sharp noise (not only loud noises). This means that if you are in a noisy environment - and not listening to music - all you have is expensive ear plugs. Not a filtered signal that helps your hear better than ear plugs. Question: If you are not transmitting harmful levels of noise on the ear buds, why would you need to foldback limit the mic.....It would be cleaner to just attenuate the level to the max safe amplitude and continue to transmit. Add some filtering or AI filtering for voice options and maybe have something good. - charging: I have had these for less than 3 months. I open the case and put them in my ears and they will invariably say "battery low" in one ear withing a couple minutes. No music, just connected. - Microphone - if you plan to use these for dual use, like for conference calls. I have had no luck getting the Mic to function. The only thing others say on the call is "We can barely hear you" until i take it off of these ear buds. -Comfort - The ear protection inserts are effective, if you get them in far enough, however, it is a bit like stuffing a plastic pipe in your ear. takes a bit of time to feal 'normal'. Then because it is semi rigid the skin in your ear will loosen around it and it will fall out. The silicone ones are much more comfortable, but do not have the full sound protection. This would be fine if it worked for something other than shooting or operating machinery.

Fantastic electronic ear pro, great battery life
This is my second pair of Xcor Pro's. The first pair is still working fine after 3 years, and I like them so much that I got a few of my shooting buddies to buy them, and I bought this pair recently for my Wife. Enough NRR to shoot pretty much anything anywhere without needing muffs over them (I've shot everything from 5.56 SBR through 300 PRC and 12ga and was never uncomfortable), and the sound boost/cutoff works seamlessly. You can have effortless conversations with people around you naturally, and I don't even notice the cutout, it just works. Great for action-shooting too, they fit well, come with a bunch of different ear piece sizes, and stay put even with running and aggressive movement. I've used them for 6+ hours at a time and the battery was still going strong. The charging case can fully charge the earbuds several times before needing to be recharged itself, and I haven't ever had issues with the ear buds fitting in the proper place in the case to make a good charging connection. The magnets in the case hold the earbuds securely in place while charging. I use them for lawnwork as well as shooting sports, and they work great to play music and cut out the loud volume of the mowers and small engines. The music sound quality is good, but not great. A pair of good quality music-specific ear buds will have noticeably better sound quality (with no NRR), but it's plenty good enough for background music, and is way better than the Walkers I used previously. They're not the cheapest option, but buy once/cry once. I bought the pair of Walker in-ear protection first, and ended up trashing them over poor fit, bad sound quality, and terrible battery life and buying these instead, and they're fantastic.

Worth every dollar!
These earbuds are great. I use them at work around aircraft, mowing my yard, as well at the shooting range, and on my motorcycle. On my motorcycle I wear a half helmet and they quiet the wind noise completely while producing excellent sound quality. Then with a quick touch I can turn the sound on to hear everything when I need to. Outstanding for music and clearly hearing GPS commands. They are to big to fit under a full helmet though. This is my second pair because as they are advertised to be water resistant, they couldn't handle going through the laundry. I love the way the active noise canceling doesn't cut out all the sounds when noise exceeds a safe level but these will limit the volume of everything to 85 DB allowing you to still be aware of your surroundings while still protecting my hearing.

Overall, disappointing for the price point.
I have used the Axil GS Extreme for a few years now and was looking for a true "wireless" upgrade. While these technically fit that description, they do nothing better than the GS extreme other than not being connected to each other by a wire. The provided sound protection tips do the job, but they are not comfortable. I switched out for the ones from my GS X and they feel significantly better. The other tips are OK. Audio sound quality is lacking. If you're an audiophile and expecting to get any sort of enjoyment from these for music, skip them. There is zero low end and the high is raspy. I can stand listening to music but just barely and my standards for sound quality is pretty low. The hearing amplification is OK, but again I feel like the GS Extreme perform far better in this area. Wearing those with the amplification turned up is like a sound hack. I can hear everything in 360 around me. With these, I'm pretty sure they're working, but... maybe not. I'll continue to use them for outdoor shooting, especially if I'm doing anything with movement. Aside from that I wouldn't recommend and may move away from Axil for my next purchase.
