Clips work perfectly
I'm attaching 180ft of rope lights down a flight of concrete steps and around a patio area. I'm attaching the clips with longer screws into plastic anchors. The screws provided didn't work for my application, but the clips are perfect. They hold the rope light securely and are not obvious.

Good clips
Work perfectly with correct size rope lights.

Clips are stainless, screws are not.
Work great! The clips are stainless. Would have given 5 stars if the screws were also stainless, but they are not (magnet test). That will likely be an issue in the future, in this humid FL climate.

Easy to install
Perfect for the rope lights

The screws screw you...
Before screwing in the clip, the clip was able to hold the rope. Seeing the screw has a beveled head, it does not sit flush on the bracket once screwed in. Because of the screw not sitting flush, the clip can no longer hold the rope. Maybe if you buy flush screws, you might have better luck.

great clip
Works great and stainless-steel wont rot like the plastic ones that only last a year or two

good quality but too shallow
I have a 10 mm rope light. I bought the 9.5-12 mm clips for it. They are too shallow to hold the rope if I mount the clips to the wall with screws or nails. Another reviewer had already mentioned this issue. I should have listened! I didn't have time to return the clips and buy something else. I didn't want to use plastic clips either because they always end up breaking over time. So I modified them to add a little height for the screws. I included a picture to give you an idea of my solution. With the clip on the non-slip handle of my pliers, I squeezed the 2 right angle corners carefully with another pair of pliers. They bent at the weakest point, which is the screw hole, forming a barn shaped clip. This worked! The screws provided are soft, but were usable with pre-drilling. The stainless steel is strong, while still allowing some bending if needed. I don't have to worry about them breaking like the plastic ones! I am happy with the result, but it was a lot more work than anticipated. If the clips were the right shape or depth at the first place, I would have rated them 5 stars.

Old Plastic Clips Breaking?
Replaced the old "Christmas Light" clips on our deck that always break after 1 or 2 seasons. These hold the rope lights much more firmly and improve the overall appearance. This 50 pack was just enough to do our whole job.

To small but good quality

Ad is correct. Metal is quite thin, but does support rope light enough. See how it is after a year.

Very weak, screws easily strip. Good for areas that sag, but not strong enough for main anchors of the neon rope light. Based on lack of quality of material, I suspect they will rust in winter.
