Barbie On-set Stylist Doll & 14 Accessories, Brooklyn Doll with Garment Rack, Top, Fashion Pieces, Puppy & More

First, the doll is beautiful!! She's got a lovely face and her hair is quite substantial. The accessories are adorable (LOVE the tiny measuring tape!). For someone interested in fashion, this is a great little set with the iron and clothes rack to hang the clothing. (The wheels on the clothes rack do not roll.) Other accessories include tiny scissors (adorable!), two purses, a pair of sunglasses, another pair of shoes in turquoise (she's wearing black boots), a cute dog, a couple clothes hangars, the clothes rack and a little top. The legs are straight--not jointed. Her arms are straight, but I think that's easier for dressing than the Barbies with the permanently bent arm at the elbow. Really cute set and would be a nice addition to the Barbie set that comes with the sewing machine and sewing accessories. Well worth the money!

The media could not be loaded.  I am happy with my purchase. I love the stylist concept of this playset. You can really use your imagination to create dioramas. I am going to use this set as a designer/ stylist for my fashion dolls. Typically Barbie quality, so I would say it is of good value for the price. I really like the added clothes rack and iron in this set.Kids should be able to have fun with their imagination with this playset. Lot of little pieces, so I don't know how long little girls will be able to keep all of the pieces together. Overall a good set and I would recommend this for the collectors and kids.

Anything "Barbie" is generally fine with me, particularly these days when she can do anything. Unfortunately Mattel never seems to put her in the jobs - or the clothes - that afford her accessories these days; a dream house, sports car, RV, vacation home and boat are expensive.This Barbie isn't so labelled on the box, but her accessories indicate she is a casually dressed, but well-prepared hair and cosmetic stylist. She's wearing a sweatshirt with a decal, jean skirt and plastic half boots, and a rubber apron with pockets (even Barbie's stylist understands the need!).She has a make-up stand with two trays and handy hooks on "wheels," and a puppy (of course. Because every make-up scenario allows a pet). She also has a cloth robe for her victim, and assorted plastic pretend items: a handheld hair dryer, curling iron (fixed in the open position), two different brushes, a bottle of perfume, spray bottle, two make-up brushes, and a tiny box with a decal showing makeup (which may look like it does, but really does not, open and close. I'm chagrined, but you can learn from my mistake). Even a pair of plastic scissors, frozen in the open position, are included. All are in the right relative sizes for Barbie, which is nice.Getting these items released from the box is quite the challenge - the accessories are in double layers of plastic - and I used a pocket knife, a pair of (real) scissors, a pair of small sewing scissors, and said a lot of non-Barbie words over the 30 minutes I spent. I don't know how a child would open up the box and pry Barbie loose without injury on those sharp plastic edges, or have the patience to wait.I also don't know how you would be able to tell in advance that this Barbie has movable hands, but not bendable legs (minus one star). Perhaps sitting isn't necessary for a stylist; seems like they would want to sit down every once in a while, especially since Barbie does have to drive her car to the studio. So a little more detail on the box - advertising what career this doll has, and what the doll is physically able to do - would be helpful. I honestly thought all dolls these days came with bendable legs unless otherwise stated.Lastly, Barbie's head, if you adjust the hair, looks like her brain surgery was recent and her hair was carelessly resewn; ironic in a "stylist" doll. If you do anything to her hair just pull her part aside in back, the plugs and her head seam are visible.
