Arklow Painted Grey Oak Extra Large TV Stand for 65 Inch TV / 180cm Unit Fully Assembled

I ordered this TV unit for the lounge and was very pleased with the actual product. It’s well finished, looks great and although it’s very light (not full oak, sadly) it is pretty sturdy.Sadly, my only complaint was the customer service from their chosen courier; despite being based merely eighteen miles away, Grand Prix Express took at least 5 days to deliver the item.We didn’t receive any delivery updates from Grand Prix Express in Mochdre, north Wales, and really had to chase our purchase. In fact, the South African-sounding chap on the courier’s customer service line was downright rude to my wife and I, talked over us despite our attempts to gain simple, adequate delivery information, calls were never returned despite him twice confirming he’d “definitely call” in a few minutes after chasing up where their driver was, and he also terminated two telephone calls from us to the company he worked for abruptly and rudely. Terrible.Customer service from Grand Prix Express was abysmal, but this review can only really reflect the product overall, hence the 4 out of 5 review. If I was giving feedback for the delivery, it would be 2/5 because the driver himself was a nice chap and helpful with bringing our new bit of furniture into our home.We would definitely buy another Arklow grey unit but wouldn’t ever want it delivered by Grand Prix Express I’m afraid...

For the price I was expecting something alright, but nothing amazing and lifting it before removing the packaging i noticed it was much lighter than a solid wood piece of furniture so i wasn't expecting much.However, I was very surprised by the quality and finish of it. The first thing I noticed when after removing its packaging was just how nice the top wooden surface is, smooth and with a lovely grain to it. A relative of ours is a cabinet maker and having seen much of his work, based purely on appearance this is equal in quality to a bespoke piece, its quite surprising really.In terms of sturdiness, and build quality i cant fault it, its painted to a nice smooth finish and feels like it could take a knock or two without showing signs of wear. Although TVs are always getting lighter and lighter, Its strong too despite its wide width and it is currently holding a 55 inch TV, which incidentally doesn't look overly big in our room now that its on this stand and not the last one we had.In all I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a quality, wide TV stand that looks as good as something 10 times the price.

Wrong unit delivered to warehouse, I wanted the painted version and would have had re order and to have waited several more weeks so just opted for the unpainted version, lovely unit although the hole at the back for the wires does need to be bigger so as to fit hand in.

The product is well built for the price and fully assembled. Packaged well if a little excessive for peace of mind that it's not damaged. Mist impressive was the delivery in 4 days from order to door. Just wished there was a matching bookcase in the range.

Perfect for the boy’s games room. Easily fits on two 28’’ TV’s, two Xbox and a PS4. The side cupboards hold games & accessories. Arrived well before estimated delivery time, well packaged and in perfect condition. Would definitely recommend.

Love it, .. After being contacted by the seller to advise us this item would be arriving later than stated and did we wish to continue with the order... It arrived today .. 19 days before expected and around the previous date stated when I first ordered.. Great quality, looks great and packaged so well, That it would take a hurricane to have damage it .. Thank you ♥

The oak cabinet is excellent quality, a good solid piece of furniture. The grey paint gives it a traditional but modern touch. It is a beautiful piece of furniture and I am very pleased with my purchase

I never bother with reviews but felt the need to with this TV stand. I’m really impressed with the quality of this product. Looks really expensive but for the price is an absolute bargain!
