HARIOV60 Drip-Assist, 02 Clear

I drink pour over every morning (using top quality, single origin coffee, high end grinder) using a Hario V60 03 Dripper. My brews were somewhat inconsistent and couldn't determine why. I gave this gadget a try after watching a video my the inventor, Mr. Licotta. Glad I did! Now I get the same results every time I brew. I can only assume that I didn't pay enough attention to my pouring technique, but the Drip-Assist eliminated the inconsistency. I use it religiously and have recommended it to my fellow coffee nerds.

このアイテムが良い感じで蓋になり蒸らしが良い感じです。味も多少良くなっている様に感じますので私にとっては必須アイテムになっていますが、手抜き目的なら普通にハンドドリップの方が楽かもしれません。結局何度かに分けてお湯を注ぐことに変わりないので、洗うアイテムが増える分面倒かも？

味にばらつきがなく美味しく煎れられます。

Very easy to use and really helps control the water flow keeping it nice and consistent.

I use it with the kalita wave with an espresso puck screen under the wave filter and it basically makes drip coffee, like a way better version of what comes out of a mr coffee. When I use it with V60, it tends to make an underextracted brew, in my opinion. You can't really get a super even bloom with it IMO, because the center holes don't distribute far. I have to grind finer to make sure the extraction happens the way I like it. YMMV! I don't hold it over the cup, I put it on the cup. Pete Licata does both in his demo video on Hario dot com. I find putting it on the cup after adding coffee and taring the scale is the better way to make sure it's consistent.
