It works great for now.
I dislike the fact that it won't last too long. I bought one last year and it only lasted 1 year. That's why I got another one.

Faulty and no support from maker/ company
The charging cord was very short and barely reached lid to any outlet As a result after few uses the end broke off from the cord, staying in the slot. I wrote in for a new cord, simple fix. Mfg, not Amazon, says no way, get Amazon to replace it. It was the principal of using inadequate parts on the mfg side. Took 4 emails too. I’ll buy a longer cord, easy, but don’t produce items that don’t stand up to 4 uses! Prime day 2024 purchase. Tomorrow is my last day to return to Amazon

Easy to use
Without a lab test, i do nnt know how effective ii is. Assuming that the UV light is poweful enough, it seems to work fine. the self-cleaning feaure handles the interior each time you use it. Use soapy water to wash the outside, rinse with clean water, and it's ready BBVz

I Think it Works
I bought this for a trip, and then went to test it to see if it actually kills bacteria. I used a bacteria test kit and creek water. I had a control test (water from the creek) and a test (creek water "purified" by the bottle). The tests came back as expected, with water from the same source showing no bacteria growth in the purified test. However, after thinking about it, there's no way to determine the UV light is actually on. Yes, there's an indicator on the top, but that just means the bottle "thinks" it's turned the light on (what if it burns out or is obstructed?).Not having some sort of visual inside the bottle (like a site glass seeing inside the bottle to verify the light is on) made me nervous about using this bottle (or a Larq, doesn't matter, same principle).I ended up returning this bottle, not only because of uncertainty of performance, but because the charge port was so badly misaligned that I found myself forcing the USB-C into it.If you want certainty that you're getting clean water, without all the fuss of charging and then wondering if it's actually working, look at a bottle with a filter instead.

Seems pretty awesome.
It is a nice water bottle. It cost similar to a regular water bottle. It has the awesome ability to clear out mold and bacteria with the UV function which was the big selling point. My only complaint is there does not seem to be any way to see if the light is actually shining other than trusting the indicator light on the cap. Hopefully its working...

Two days into our trip it stopped working
I loved this bottle for the two days it worked. We were traveling abroad and wanted to have that extra bit of confidence that when we refilled our bottles at the fountains it would be clean. It worked for exactly two days and then stopped. I thought it might be the battery, so I charged it over night and woke with a positive light that it charged. But after taking it off the charging cable, filling it, and pressing the button, nothing happened. We wound up having to go without water or buy bottles when they were available. I would love to have this bottle for hiking and traveling, but only if it is more reliable. Maybe mine was a fluke?

This is my second bottle
The first one did not wear out—I just wanted an extra one! They are great and definitely improve the taste of spigot water. The charge lasts for months. And the water stays cold for at least 24 hours, longer if you add a little ice. I have absolutely no complaints.

Clean Water
I would've rated this product a 5. My 1st bottle was a 5. Then, I accidentally dropped it and the plastic face came off and we never found it. I started to order just the lid. I could order a brand new bottle for almost the same amount of money. It's been like nite and day. I should've turned the 1st one in on insurance. The purple lite comes on daily. I know that it charged already. It's harder to attach the charger. That's working better, but I attach the charger, and still can't clean my h20. I didn't insure this one. What do u suggest that I do? BTW, the charging cord has got to be the shortest ever. I have to look for a place to charge it. Plz help me find a solution for both.

No charging cable, packaging appears to have been opened. Looks like a used product.

Poorly designed
I bought this for my 20-year-old daughter who is living on a ship with questionable water. I hoped this would help her stay healthy. Unfortunately the first time she tried opening it the top came off the lid and I couldn’t get it back together correctly. This is a critical design flaw. Don’t buy.
