Good enough for the price
Overall, you get a lot of canvases for the price, so if you want to practice painting, this is a great set to get. Quality is decent. I'm comparing it to some canvases I bought for my oil painting classes (Fredrix's brand, which is a well established canvas brand):- Unlike other reviewers have mentioned, I think the stapling in the back is fine. The canvas has a good tightness.- The canvas is a thin. It's 1cm thick, vs. Fredrix's 2cm thick.- The canvas cloth is very thin as well. It doesn't feel high quality. The advertising claim says that the canvas is ready to use right away. This is not exactly true. I used oil paint on the canvas and the oil seeped through the canvas. So if you're going to use oil paint, you're still going to have to prime the canvas. I think for acrylic paint, you're probably fine skipping priming. So in summary: great bulk set to practice painting, but I wouldn't use them for "professional" paintings you're aiming to sell.

Best for Student
The canvases are great for grade school student work. They aren't as sturdy and tight as pricier canvases that adults would use for long term artwork. They would be fine for a hobbyist.

Canvases
These are nice framed canvases. They are on the thin side--they arrived in a box about the same size as a laptop. That said though, they're not panels, and I'm grateful for that. As to how well they hold up, I think they're about the same as other canvases on the market, but time will ultimately be the judge of that. I'd highly recommend these, especially if you're looking for a variety of sizes.

Great to have on hand...
Decent quality pre stretched canvas for painting--already coated with gesso and ready to go.I am not a professional artist but find that when the inspiration strikes, it is nice to be able to get right to it without a visit to the store. This pack has 16 canvases of varying sizes and could get me through a year or more for a pretty reasonable price. The frame construction is sturdy--mortised joints with glue keep everything together.Good value. No complaints.

Good selection of sizes!
The canvas is stretched tight but the corners are a little sloppy. Overall there is a nice selection of sizes and they are usable. But it you want clean corners you will need to do a little work on them before use. A decent value.

Great value
These are great canvases! You get a lot for your money. A few of them arrived with not the best craftsmanship but who looks at the back anyway!

Not just for paint! Fun for hand embroidery! Great Variety Pack!
I'll admit right out the gate that I'm not much of a painter..... but I LOVE these canvases for hand embroidery! I realize that's an unconventional way to use them, but I'm having a lot of fun stitching up this butterfly for my daughter's room. I find the frames to be very sturdy and the canvas wonderful to stitch on. Since it's a primed surface, its not at all forgiving for stitches redoes (as it makes a hole that will not fill in if you need to reposition your stitches), but if you're a confident stitcher, you'll have fun with this medium.I also love that this set comes packaged with one of each size nested together, then plastic wrapped together.... so if you wanted to split the set and give someone one of each size as a gift, it's easy and practical to do! At the time I selected these, the price was around $32 - which I thought was an AMAZING deal for the set. I would happily repurchase these again.
