The Mini 3 Pro is what I tell everyone to get as their first drone. It does everything you could want as an amateur while giving you a taste of what you could get into with more expensive models. I have range issues where it begins to lose connection, but it doesn't bother me. Be careful in Sport mode! It's intoxicating to buzz around and makes you feel like an expert but 100% of my crashes happened in Sport mode.

We purchased this drone to do aerial photography of our landscaping work. Looking back I may have gotten the mini 3 pro or mini 4 due to the superior camera but this setup is good enough. As far as the actual drone, we couldn’t be happier! It is extremely stable, easy to fly and is also a lot of fun. This was a good investment and I 100% recommend the DJI mini 3 to anyone that wants/needs a high quality beginner drone.

DJI comes with software packed "for safety reasons" to limit flying in GEO Unauthorized fly zones. Now this may not be a challenge for many but I live at the edge of a zone and can not even test my sexy new drone. I have flown my drones out of my back yard for years always keeping in mind altitude and distance. DJI will not allow it. Oh you can apply for authorization to unlock your drone but to me it seemed like a lot of work. Saying this I want to close with this is an amazing drone with amazing clarity on video and still pictures. If you live in a GEO Zone think twice about buying a high grade drone.... DJI is not the only one to use this technology

Making the choice to purchase the DJI mini 3 Pro was a well thought out process. I have compared several drones, and there features and issues that my of come up with the DJI line of drone and found that the mini-3 pro had the least of issues. The price point was in my budget, and with the bundle package it also added savings. I have enjoyed flying Mini 3 pro. This is not my first drone. Love the 249 Grams weight, and size making it portable to fit in a small carrying case or small backpack, the picture quality with the feature settings breaks the limits for getting the best photo shots, and videos. The bundle package that Beach Camera put together was great, but I would have enjoyed the ND filters in the bundle. I feel the ND filters are a definite need, as far as the service from Beach Camera. Delivery was on time, even coming one day earlier. The only problem I had was the VR google that came in the box was damaged. I called Beach Camera spoke to a representee and quicky addressed my concern and shipped another VR google and received them in 3 days GREAT JOB! The 2 year extended warranty that comes with the bundle package is very basic. Best that you purchase a DJI Care refresh plan for 1 or 2 years. I purchased the 2 years plan its worth every bit of the investment to insure your drone. When you turn on your drone for the first time it will prompt you if you want to buy the Care refresh plan giving you the option to buy the 1 or 2 year plan Just buy it.

If I could give this product more than five stars, I would. My husband absolutely loves it, and I find it very easy to use and fly. Takes absolutely beautiful photos. Only downfall I see is the batteries do not last long enough.

Absolutely do not buy but unless you know a person who will train you on this particular model, not any other drone. There are no instructions, and internet and youtube will do you no good. Makers of this thing, I hope you are reading this. You must understand how complicated and difficult this device is. You really need to include a big and fat manual with one by one instructions on how to proceed. I have no idea how to even start the damned thing. The remote control included is asking me to login! WTF??? Login into what???? I think I will return it even though they make you pay return postage. This is so frustrating. I really meant to get into this hobby but unless you know a person who will get you going you will be stuck and it will never fly.

Used it on multiple vacations and just flying around. Works great. Only issue is high winds, but the drone will warn you if it’s in that condition.
