Great value knife
Wow, this knife is a great value. The carbon fiber scales are real and really high quality. The red thumb studs and spacers really make it stand out. The action is a little tight and the D2 steel is…well D2 steel which is not the sharpest but, again is good enough at this price point. Overall love this knife, especially on sale at <$35.

VERY NICE!!!
I am very impressed with this mini freek “styled “ knife…I am somewhat of a knife snob so when I saw this knife I skeptically ordered it; thinking it would be “trash” ;however, it’s NOT…I was really impressed with the quality of this knife…the D2 steel has remained very sharp after very heavy usage. the carbon fiber handle is awesome, and the locking mechanism (axis lock) has operated flawlessly…I will definitely buy this knife again. I purchased this knife with my own money; this is an honest review!!!MO

Sleek D2 steel knife with pretty carbon fiber scales and an axis lock
This knife has a well-made design, featuring carbon fiber scales which make its handle quite interesting. It's not as lightweight as I expected, and while the blade seems delicate, it has endured regular use well. Out of the box, it's pretty sharp and has maintained its edge through various everyday tasks. I'm unsure if it's made of D2 steel, but it's performing satisfactorily so far. It's suitable for tasks like opening boxes, cutting fruit and rope, and processing cardboard for recycling. However, I would have preferred a less pointed blade as I fear it might break if used for prying. Compared to my Ontario Rat 2, which I use more roughly, this knife feels more suited for lighter tasks like barbecuing. Avoid prying with it, and it should serve you well. A friend admired it after I used it to cut baklava, noting its presentation. The axis lock is icing on the cake as it makes it very easy to open and with solid lockup. The only downside is the stiff pocket clip, which I worry might damage my pockets when removing the knife. The pointed tip of the clip also makes it uncomfortable to pry open. I'll try leaving it pried open to see if it loosens. Overall, it's a decent knife, but I'm not sure if I would spend $40 on it; perhaps if it were discounted.

Not to bad
Knife action was okay but had corse grind marks and wasn't very sharp. Pocket clip is very stiff won't slide clip on pocket with out a little effort. I think it'll break in okay it sharpened up decent.

Well made!
At one fourth the price of those bench produced knives... that use their profits to erode your rights... I am so happy this competitor has offered several cover designs that have exceeded my expectations in quality, workmanship, and material. The D2 heat treat matches the 'best' offering from the left coast while the lock mechanism is absolutely perfect (and likely no longer covered under a patent!). Deployment is bronze-bushing smooth and the carbon fiber is flawless. At this price point, get a few... they make a great gift!

Nice little knife in giftable box
This little pocket knife looks nice, arrived sharp and came in a little box that can be easily gifted to someone. There are red pins for flipped the knife open. You have to slide a pin to release the blade lock, which I don't particularly care for. There was some degree of oil on the knife when it arrived. I wiped it off, but I am going to watch it to make sure there are not future corrosion problems with the knife. The clip is set appropriately, not too hard to engage or so loose that it doesn't clip to the side of my pocket.
