Truly, truly an interesting start!
So, for a start, the art in this manga is absolutely gorgeous... I mean it's rare to see someone who is really pushing the envelope in the manga world, but this is certainly a beautifully drawn book! But, also, the storyline both feels familiar, for a shonen manga, & incredibly unique! The way that everything in this world is shrouded is such a compelling mystery kept me reading, & the main characters are compelling! Certainly worth a read, if you're interested in trying a new series!

A Gritty and Glorious Read
If your son loves dark fantasy with a touch of cyberpunk, Gachiakuta is a perfect fit. This manga dives into a world of trash, monsters, and a young protagonist with a unique power. The artwork is striking, with a raw and edgy style that complements the story's gritty atmosphere. The story is both thought-provoking and action-packed, exploring themes of class, environmentalism, and the human condition. It's a refreshing take on the shonen aenre. offerina a darker and more mature tone. Mv son was hooked from the first page

Love this series
I love this series. The art is amazing. I like the line shading and style. The expressions are goofy and playful. It came in good condition. It held up as well I’ve had it for about 3 months now. I can’t wait to keep reading!

3.75 stars
3.75 starsRudo lives in a slum hovering above a city, where the wealthy discard their waste into the depths below. Falsely accused of murder, he faces exile into the abyss, where he encounters monstrous creatures. To seek justice and uncover the truth, he must harness a new power and join the Cleaners, a group fighting the monstrous trash beasts. It's very much giving Elysium vibes. I'm unsure what I expected when I requested this from NetGalley. I was intrigued by the concept, and the art for Volume 1 gave off the dark vibe I tend to enjoy. Volume 1 is just the setup for the series with all the world-building and getting to know the protagonist.I'm reminded a little of Akame ga Kill. I thoroughly enjoyed Akame ga Kill so that's not a bad thing. Weapons with superpowers are always awesome. Kei Urana was an editor for Fire Force, and the influence of style is there. The art style is good, but the dramatized angles aren't my favorite. The first few chapters are slow, but it picks up once Rudo is thrown into the Pit. Overall, it's a good start to the series. I would definitely have started this if I'd seen it in one of my manga apps. I'm interested in seeing what's next.

Try it
Great manga. Different. I can tell it’s inspired by hiphop in a sense & graffiti art. That’s the vibe I get on the art. Story is interesting, just grab it.

I love how fluid but sharp the artstyle is in the manga and how it is develops the characters and the areas themself in a great way this is going to be one of my most favorites manga after buying the first 1-3 manga volumes and now waiting on the 4th to come out. Would recommend. 👍
