Beautiful handcrafted. Worth the price.

I don’t know how to play flute but decided to get these because they look beautiful at a good price. I bought a tin whistle with an instruction pamphlet a while back. These have six holes so they should play similarly. These wood flutes play a nicer more resonant sound than the tin one. The carvings are beautiful. They’re so loud I don’t try them very often.

I’m not a master flute or recorder player, but I do remember that my other wooden recorders/flutes had a hole in the back as well as the six holes in the front. As a result there’s not a lot of notes that you can achieve, as well, the flute has to be blown very loudly in order to work. It might just be user ineptness, but I never had this problem with other wooden flutes before this.

I bought these for a Christmas present to replace one. It was great to receive 2 and they are solid and sound great.
