Samsung Galaxy S23+ Plus 5G, US Version, 256GB, Phantom Black - Unlocked (Renewed)

I purchased Samsung Galaxy S23 plus excellent refurbished phone from IT Tech out of New York. January 29th 2026. I waited until now to leave a review. (March 8, 2026) I had tried to cancel the order but it had already shipped. When it arrived I immediately requested a return/refund. Amazon said thay would communicate with the seller for a return request. I was thinking this is not going to go well! The seller gave a prompt response and a no questions asked free shipping return for a full refund. What a relief! I didn't even open the box. I struggled with the decision to buy a refurbished phone. What if it's not really unlocked? What if the battery doesn't last, etc. so I thought it was a bad idea and don't open it. Although their return policy was still valid if I had opened it. (They never asked) Long story short, I ended up needing it and took it to Verizon to get it set up, hoping for the best. Verizon confirmed it was everything as advertised. It was unlocked, ligit software, correct updates, etc. It was in excellent condition as advertised. Maybe a couple light scratches where the charger output is but otherwise almost prestine. Screen was perfect. Even Verizon employee was impressed. He kept saying how much did you pay for this?! $350 with tax. Can't beat it! Phone has 100% charge as well! It may not hold a charge as long as it should and does get a little bit hot at times bt I am constantly on it as I do everything on it. Never even touch a computer. This is a very long, scatter brained review, and I will update if something changes but as of now I am quite impressed with this phone and this company, specifically. ** BEST careful reading the reviews as I noticed that the reviews for the phone is not divided by each individual company Amazon is doing business with so I would encourage you to look at the seller and their reviews specifically before purchasing from them. I've waited about four months to post a review, giving me plenty of time to experience the phone. Let me start off by saying I spent HOURS going through different websites and sellers, trying to filter through reviews and the experience of others because... let's be real, who wants to sploof a $350+ purchase? Brand new, I would have never dropped the retail price on this phone. I did extensive delving into the sellers that offered this specific phone, and I ended up going with Soonersoft. I was hesitant, even though it says unlocked, because there are thousands of reviews out there of people having to try to refund their renewed/refurbished purchases because it's not TRULY unlocked. So I messaged the seller and asked for verification that the phone would work with my carrier ( Verizon). They quickly responded, and verified that it was actually a Verizon unlocked phone. Perfect! I put my order in and received my phone a couple of days later. It arrived in a box very much like a brand new phone would. This phone was SPOTLESS. Not a single scratch anywhere on the surface and no discoloration. I had a hiccup during setup where I didn't think it was going to work, but I waited until ALL, and I must stress ALL, of my information was synced and everything was done updating. I used my old SIM card, though this phone offers eSIM, and was able to get it working properly without needing either the seller support ( they included a card with the packaging for such cases ), or Verizon. I've had no wifi or bluetooth connectivity issues, and the fingerprint reader works flawlessly. The camera is a huge step up from my previous 5 year old phone, and the UI is intuitive as I've only ever had Samsung. Literally my ONLY gripe about this phone is actually the Verizon app itself. It'll glitch to the point I often have to completely close and reopen it several times if I want to check my data usage or pay the bill manually. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it, cleared cache and data, and the issue persists. HOWEVER, this is not really a big issue for me personally. I can easily open my account via a chrome tab and work with my info that way. TLDR; Was very skeptical ordering a phone online, did tons of research and found the seller SoonerSoft. Shot them a compatibility question and ordered the phone. Phone was in like new condition and I had no issues after having ALL of my data transferred over. It's been running near flawlessly ( save for my carrier app ) for the past 4 months. I can solidly recommend this seller for renewed electronics. They're also very responsive to questions if you want to verify what carrier it's unlocked from.

It runs perfectly, no scratches no dents no dings, it's fast, camera is really good, plays games amazingly, I don't regret not getting the s24 or s24 plus, I'd recommend the s23+, do your research and if you don't need the top of the line new.. you can get the top of line still kinda new and it does the exact same thing, it has cool AI features and all the stuff cause of the recent updates.. snapdragon gen 2 is still super fast and the 8gbs of ram is good enough, if your rendering high quality videos with a lot of effects get something stronger, if your not, this is very strong, the extra memory is great as well, going from 128 or whatever to 256 or whatever is always good

At first, I was very cautious, especially when you're spending just over a grand on a pre-owned phone on Amazon, but the seller seemed very reliable and shipped the phone to be priority shipping at no extra charge. It didn't come in it's original packaging (which usually has me worried) but the phone is 100% authentic. It came packaged with the charger and the pin for the nano sim. The battery life is practically brand new, I go from 100% to 80% after coming back home from a shift (10 hours including commute, using the phone with moderate scrolling, couple phone/video calls, an hour of gaming on PUBG mobile, Spotify on the bluetooth speaker for the whole shift at work, picture taking of food for the restaurant I work at), I'm very impressed the battery is in a perfect condition. I'll even forget to charge the phone before I go to bed and it'll still survive the shift at work the next day (no seriously, it really does) As for the aesthetics, there was very little to no scratches on my phone. It pretty much arrived in mint condition. Charge ports work perfectly fine along with the wireless charging (and yes, it does fast charging, as it should). Phone calls are loud and clear and so is the speaker on the phone. Fingerprint sensor is very accurate (even with a screen protector) along with facial recognition and the ol' reliable PIN/Pattern code. The cameras work perfectly fine, all four lenses (believe me, I made sure) along with the flash. Overall, I love this phone. More importantly, the seller delivered a great product and a very quick delivery too (literally arrived at my door the next day) and especially at a good price. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐, highly recommend.

Excellent value, barely any cosmetic damage on the sides and otherwise it's like brand new. I was a bit worried about the battery life with a refurbished phone, but I'm getting 7-8 hours screen on time. No connectivity issues either.
