epic Bleed Kit for Shimano Road Disc Brakes & 100ml Mineral Oil - 105/DURA-ACE/GRX/Ultegra/Tiagra, Bleed Funnel & Adapter included

I had to shorten the brake hoses when putting a GRX drivetrain on my bike so I wanted to bleed the brakes too.This kit had everything I needed, including the special adapter for road sti brifters.It was my first time doing this but the instructions were easy to follow. There is also plenty of fluid left for future work.There is now no air in the system and the brakes have been working great the past few months.

The kit works well, can't knock it for that. But the components are very cheap and can't see them standing the test of time. If they're not stored with this in mind the syringe and funnel will easily be damaged.Therefore, quite expensive for what you get. Charge a tenner they would still make a profit.

First attempt at bleeding brakes on any bike. Followed YouTube videos and worked first time. Giant Defy 2022. Have plenty of rags at hand just in case of spills.

The syringe was faulty (cracked) and no rubber seal for syringe plunger. Didn’t work and only cause more air to go into the system.

This is a complete kit for bleeding Shimano hydraulic brakes and certainly makes the process quite straightforward.My only criticism is that the tube that screws onto the syringe has a slightly narrower bore than the other plastic tube, which makes it more difficult to get good seating on the bleed port.The kit comes with 100ml of mineral oil, which should be more than ample for 2 brake lines.It's a nice kit
