I bought this one to replace a different one I had bought due to the other one making a grinding noise when rotating. My son loves this light and he is 3. Here are the things I love and don’t love about this product.Love:* The different options for light color and color combinations. You can have red, green, blue or white, or a combo of colors. You can have it rotate or be stationary.* That it is quiet when on (however see dislike comment)*The built in music and a wide variety of songs that are all fairly great for bedtime.* Area that it projects to. It easily lights up my sons ceiling.* That it had a remote control and buttons on the machine it’s self* Has several different timer options.Dislikes:* The control on the machine do not allow you to control the volume, you can only turn it up or down with the remote.* The brightness is the light is nice but it would be nice if you could dim the lights some. We just turn it on only red at night if it’s to bright.* Being able to control the volume from the remote is nice but there is nothing on the machine or remote that tells you what volume level you are on which would be helpful.* BIG dislike (reason I will probably return it) we have t even had it a month and it started making a loud grinding type noise when it’s rotating. I’m super bummed it’s doing this.* some of the songs have higher pitch musical sounds which if not turned down can be fairly loud. But overall I like the music.Overall I would recommend this product, I just think it could use a few glitches fixed. The noise that it makes when turning doesn’t bug my son which is good but drives me crazy. :)

After trying many different star/music combos I finally found one I like!! I use it as a nightlight and music to help my daughter fall asleep. Has lots of pros and a few cons that I can absolutely deal with.PROS- I like that I can set the timer for hours! My daughter always had to fall asleep to her butterfly Slumber Buddy, but at times would awake when the timer (45min) went off. So now that I can set it for 1 or 3 hours with one press of a button on the remote. She now no longer wakes!- Love the stars and moon!- Has a removable sd card that has some very soft pretty lullabies on it. I was hoping to put my own music on it, but still figuring out how to change the format so it will work.- Has a remote.- Not too bright. I use on the red setting for sleep since that's the least bright. It does have lots of light combos it you want a brighter effect.- The cord is plently long to reach an outlet.CONS- The buttons on the machine are hard to read since they aren't lit. Also the volume on the machine is difficult to operate since it is a "long press" on the "next song" buttons.- Couldn't figure out how to add my own lullaby music to the existing removable sd card.-Batteries only last about 4-5 hours. So be sure to bring the cord when you travel.- The "repeat" button is difficult to figure out. It is only on the remote. Sometimes it works others it didn't. This forced me to delete the sounds I didn't like. Like the thunderstorm, a christmas song, and a few others. It does however have some very soft pretty lullabies I do love! So I am happy with the music.

Update: Well, the sound no longer works at all, via the machine itself or the remote. I figured the lights would fail first, if anything. I wanted the lights more than the sound anyway, but heads up. Down to 3 stars. The lights and oscillation still work fine.This is amazing for soothing a baby to sleep! My newborn daughter was the easiest kid in the world until about 4 weeks and then turned into...well, a normal baby, haha! It started getting tricky to get her to calm down without looooooong walks outside and singing. I ordered this during a rough night and Im so glad I did! I was walking outside and singing for an hour an a half last night, before this arrived. My daughter always focuses on lights, so I thought this would be great to help her wind down. So far, it is! I opened it as soon as it was delivered, plugged it into a powerbank and started playing with it, with my daughter in my arms. Just as I'd hoped she was staring at the stars moving around and fell asleep right there! I wasn't even wanting her to sleep then, but, hey, proof of concept! The lights are bright enough without being overly bright, aside from the white light, but, just as I was wishing I could turn off just the white and keep the colors, I saw a button that does just that! I would be nice if it had a dimmer, especially one thst gradually dimmed on a timer, but I do like the light volume. The music is also nice and actually relaxing, aside from one track that had a bit of a percussive sound, Im not sure what its supposed to be, but I found it a bit jarring the first time it came on. However, i know we cycled through all the tracks at least twice the first time we used it and we didnt notice it again, athough, there is also a (soft) cricket sound and we thought we were going crazy for a bit. I may delete one or two tracks, but, generally, well done on the sounds and, importantly, the volume is adjustable in *small* increments. We got a mobile at our baby shower that has the loudest, most awful, unusable sound, and this was such an improvement. Idk how the speaker sounds with regular music and probably wont bother with that. Bluetooth would be cool but also cost more. An aux jack would also be nice, but the speaker is probably really not made for that anyway and it works very well for the sounds loaded on the card. The lights and sound are very nice together. I really like how the different colors overlap and weave; its mezmerizing. Mommy and I even got to spend some private time together, with this light on over baby's crib. Whew, finally! Parents of babies, this may be your favorite purchase! So far, we love it! I really hope it keeps working. There are a lot of reviews with reports of malfuntion, but the company appears to be taking care of its customers, so that makes me feel a bit better. There are cheaper projectors, but they seem to be failing at higher rates and without customer support and lack remotes, which is nice to have. Fingers crossed that we got a good unit, that will keep working. So far, I havent been able to shut up about how glad I am that I bought this! Buyers should note that it comes with a usb cable but, curiously, not a charging block. If you're like me, you are practically drowning in those but, if not, you will need one to plug it in. Also, and this is a bigger issue, the usb end is standard usb A but the other end is a DC barrel end. If the cord goes out, good luck finding one like that! Idk where I would find a replacement if I needed one. It really ought to charge with a standard usb-c or micro. It can use 4 AAAs as well, and Im going to put a set of rechargeable batteries in it, although, it does have a screw on the battery compartment, which is the bane of my existence (who are these kids swallowing batteries?), so that wont be fun to change when they die. I havent used batteries yet, so idk how long they will last, powering a motor. Its nice to have the option of batteries, but a model with a rechargeable li-ion battery may be preferable for some, probably many. Most of the functions on the remote are also available on the unit itself, which is not always a given with some things, so thats nice, because, lets face it, this tiny remote is likely to get lost a lot.I will update the review if it fails quickly or I have any further relevant observations, but, so far, this thing is fantastic!

Endlich ein tolles Sternenlicht gefunden. Nach mehreren Fehlschlägen, bei denen die Rotationen nie richtig klappte, haben wir nun ein Licht gefunden bei dem sie einwandfrei funktioniert und flüssig läuft. Und die Musik bei diesem Licht ist wirklich wunderschön.Einziges Manko: eigentlich nur mit Kabel nutzbar, da die Batteroen sonst nach einem Tag bereits leer sind. Das ist etwas umständlich.

The media could not be loaded.  Hält was es verspricht. Viele Farben, Kombinationsmöglichkeiten und dazu noch Bewegung (die von einem sehr leisen Motor betrieben wird).Wir finden es meistens sehr hell, weshalb das Licht auch schon mal so halb unter den Nachtisch geschoben wird, damit der kleine auch noch schlafen kann.Er findet es jedenfalls super. Es kostet nicht die Welt und ist sehr einfach zu bedienen. Was will man mehr... Kleines Video anbei.

Eigentlich ein sehr schönes Licht, viele Farbkombinationen, Rotation (für meinen Geschmack etwas schnell, da wird einem schon etwas schwindlig :P), man kann selbst Musik drauf spielen.Nur irgendwie auch ein sehr eigenwilliges Gerät. Manchmal funktionieren die Knöpfe nicht (auf der Fernbedienung und auch am Licht selbst), man muss es aus und wieder ein schalten und danach spielt es die Musik plötzlich auf höchster Lautstärke. Außerdem stoppt die Musik ständig. Habe bereits das 3. Gerät, und es funktioniert wieder nicht ordentlich. Sehr ärgerlich. Leider finde ich kein anderes mit Licht und Speicherkarte. Sonst wäre es schon im Müll gelandet.2 Sterne für die schöne Idee und das Licht, das immerhin funktioniert.

Me gustó mucho. Las luces son fuertes pero no tanto, sigue dejando el ambiente acogedor. No es demasiado grande y pesa poco. Las musicas son lindas y tranquilas y con el chip se puede poner las que quieras. Volvería a comprar. Lo único malo es que no viene el enchufe para conectar a la luz. Viene con el usb nada más. tendré que comprarlo

Unser Sohn freut sich darüber nicht so sehr wie sein altes was kaputt gegangen ist, er ist 4 monate, es macht aber schöne Sterne im ganzen raum, die auch sichtbar sind wenn es hell morgens wird...Die Fernbedienung ist ein Witz die funktioniert nur bei nah drah halten und auch nur von vorn, steht das Ding falsch rum funktioniert sie schon nicht mehrMusik mache ich nicht an dazu kann ich nichts sagen, die Zeitschaltuhr funktioniert auch sehr gut
