Just buy it
One of my best purchases ever. Been DJing for a few years and this thing allows me to DJ everywhere. Getting good at DJing is just like anything else, you gotta put in the reps and this thing allows me to sit on the couch while my family is watching TV and I can split mode and have the time of my life. In the back yard, at the beach, everywhere and it's super capable. I haven't touched my laptop since I got it. I thought I would miss all my stems and best jump and fancy stuff, but this allows me to just focus on mixing without all the bells and whistles and get good instead of relying on all that stuff, plus you can generate the stems and copy them over to the controller but that's a waste of time for me. I loaded up all my songs and I'm mixing every day on the couch having a blast and getting better. I tried the laptop mode to make sure it works if my friends want to hop on and it works fine, tested it with Serato and DJay Pro, but for me I think I'm officially standalone now. I thought I would miss some of the premium features like beat jump, 8 pads and stems, but I'm actually glad I don't have them, just makes me better so I'm not caught off guard without those things that takes away your skills, especially when I'm DJing on other hardware, like old cdjs. Speakers are fine and now I always have a built-in monitor for when I'm playing out somewhere and the venue doesn't have a monitor. Engine DJ is great and easy to understand. I decided to read the entire manual just because I'm so invested in this thing. Perfect size, I found a laptop backpack on Amazon that fits it. Extremely portable and since it supports Tidal and all the streaming services, I can take song requests with no issues and it doesn't require me to stop playing to switch services like Serato.

Great mixer
Great device. This is my 5th controller I've bought and I have to say this thing is very impressive. Battery life is great. Size is a little bigger than what I thought. Speakers are good enough to fill up an apartment small party. Took this overseas with me and played on the beach, balcony, it was very fun and enjoyable. I highly recommend. Great bang for buck.

Yes! Yes! Yes!
I'm not a professional DJ, but I love music. I've owned a couple of Numark items in the past. They've never disappointed me. In the new way of DJing now, with the controllers I've been watching a lot of reviews on different brands. As a beginner, Numark was the winner (for me). I chose this Mixstream Pro Go for primary reasons, I could take it around without the hassle of a power cord, laptop, or speakers. The battery life is pretty good around 3-5 hours at a 80% volume. The built-in speakers really surprised me, they sound good for your personal use (not a large party crowd). The touch screen is a decent size. The controls, crossovers, volume, pitch, are good. It's Wi-fi and bluetooth capable. Steam your favorite music sites or pop in a usb flashdrive of your own mix. The other buttons, loops, sound effects etc: I'm new at, but I'll get a few lessons on that and possibly update later. Overall it's pretty easy to use. As a beginner I love it. I highly recommend.

Pro Controller, I love it!!!
I love this controller. I am a mobile DJ with over 25 yrs of experience and radio host for several radio shows. This is my most recent DJ controller purchase after purchasing the Denon Prime 4 and I love them both. This little thing is no joke. The built quality could have been better if I am comparing it to the flagship Prime 4 but it doesn't disappoint on features and performance. The platters are better than my Prime 4. The display is great. The speaker sounds good but not useful as monitors at a live event. This has become my main controller. I use it at 95% of my gigs. The output sound quality it great, XLR or RCA. I would recommend these to any DJ, Pro or Amateur.

House music
As a former dj I wanted something for my personal fun, for my parties; vinyls are good for Ibiza but not practical for your own parties. The easiness to mix any song at any time is what this little and no so complex all in one allows. The battery and the monitor speakers makes it very practical for anywhere, anytime. The speakers volume is good for monitor in a party but quite good for your living room or dj practice. Not a fan of sync function but is there and you can use it if you want, so you want to practice your dj skills old style, turn off quantize. I'm happy with the Mixstream will use it for a long time

DJ anywhere. Truly portable all-in-one DJ setup. All you need is this.
For me, the biggest pain about having DJ equipment is the space it takes up. If you're going old school, you need to connect turntables to a mixer, mixer to an amp, amp to speakers (or mixer to powered speakers) and add a laptop in the mix somewhere. Then...ALL of that needs to be connected to power. Once that is all setup, it pretty much stays there...forever. This is the solution to that. It's all contained in one 11lb. 22" x 11" x 3" box. You don't need turntables, mixer, laptop, amp, speakers, or power outlet. I've had this for about a week and I am thoroughly enjoying it. I had to pick up my brother yesterday from his work to take him to the airport, but he got stuck in a meeting for 45 mins. I brought this with me to show him what I had just bought, but I ended up DJing in the parking lot out of the hatchback of the car while I was waiting for him. I have laid this on top of my bed, kitchen table, TV tray and on my lap on the couch (not the most comfortable) and just practiced mixing and scratching everywhere around the house. Basically, you can take it anywhere. I have not drained the battery to 0% yet, but I have run it for a couple of hours no problem. I know the main question everyone is wondering is "how good are the built-in speakers"? I was surprised at how decent they are. They can get pretty loud, but there's no booming bass. You're not going to DJ a party with them, but they're good enough to practice and not need to hook up external speakers. I would compare them to small Bluetooth speakers like the Anker Soundcore 2. If you have bigger, better Bluetooth speakers, you can connect them to this controller as it has Bluetooth. This is the first DJ controller I have owned, so I have nothing else to compare it to. I've been using CDJs with time code CDs, a very old mixer and a very old Serato box. The Engine DJ OS seems pretty straightforward to me. You put some music on a USB flash drive or an SD card, pop it in and it's available. It will scan the BPM, the key and the file metadata when you open up the file. If it scans the BPM wrong, you can easily fix the Beat Grid on the touchscreen. Navigation takes a little getting used to, but they do have the option of navigating using the touchscreen or physical buttons for most functions. The only thing that is not available within the controller itself is stem separation. For stem separation, you have to use the desktop app to process the songs first and then transfer it over to your flash drive from the desktop app. There were some annoying things that I've discovered this week. Most DJ controllers have 8 pads, this one only has 4 due to the space that the speakers occupy. While the OS allows use of 8 different pad options, this requires you to tap a function button a second time to switch to the other set of 4 options. For instance, in Sampler Mode, if you have 5 sounds that you want to work with, you're out of luck because you only have 4 pads and to get to that 5th sound, you will have to switch sound banks. You can reassign samples to different pads, but you can't do that for the Auto Loop or Roll function. If you scratch with the crossfader reversed (hamster style), don't get this controller. There doesn't seem to be a setting to reverse the crossfader. Personally, I do not scratch this way, but many people do. Maybe it will be in a firmware update someday, but as of version 4.3.4, it's not there. It would appear that you cannot delete files off the flash drive and expect them to disappear from the library. They show up in red and if you try to load them it says the file is missing. As far as I can tell, there is no way to delete those metadata files (or delete anything period) on the controller itself. Looks like I'm going to have to do it in the desktop app. Finally, the instruction material was not the best. The QR code that was on the card inside the box led to a 404 blank page. It didn't come with a printed instruction manual. I had to go find the PDF of the manual on the Numark website and print it out myself. Maybe I'm old, but trying to look at an instruction manual on your phone or tablet is not ideal for learning anything new. Watching the instructional videos is not much better. You watch it waiting for the part that you looking for and then they don't go over it and you've wasted 15 mins. If you're goal is to be able to DJ anywhere, this is the product for you as it is the only standalone battery powered DJ controller WITH SPEAKERS. For what you get, it's a pretty good deal pricewise. I remember paying $1000 per CDJ-1000 (and you need at least two) when they first came out. This is less than the price of one of those. As far as DJ controller prices in general, $840 is in the middle range (but the lower end of middle). There are only two other battery powered DJ controllers on the market. The Denon DJ Prime Go+ is $1000 and the Alpha Theta OMNIS-Duo is $1600 and neither have speakers.
