I was looking for a white hat to protect my face from the sun while hiking! When I first received it the rim was too firm and looked weird when I put it on! I loved the hat so I threw it in the washing machine on cold and then the dryer. It now has the floppy and softness I was looking for.....Love it!!!

Best of these hats I found in terms of lightness, "scrunchability" for packing and softness . Has large enough brim. However, the clip on feature for the chin strap to be removable SOUNDED like a great idea, but the plastic clips hit at the edge of the ears and are sadly irritating...and when you remove the straps, these clips stay on the hat, thus hanging on your ear and annoying you when you move. If the clips were a bit higher in the hat, this removable strap feature would be GREAT. Could just be the shape of my head/ears - but definitely disappointing for me..Otherwise a really great hat....

Very light and comfortable. Great strap that you can easily remove and good sun protection. Can’t go wrong for the money.

I bought this for my husband that spends a lot of time in his yard. We live in South Carolina so it gets hot. It does the trick.

Hat is very light, airy so comfortable, bigger brim than expected (a plus). I would say it's more a women's hat than men's (bought for son) so he handed it over to me. I'll get good use from it.

The hat was only worn to test for perceived fitness, indoors, in front of the mirror, and shortly removed. It met expectations except for a low loft (brim to top measure), and detaching the chin strap left the clips hanging visibly, noticeably.
