Motorcycle Exhaust Can Muffler Baffle DB Killer Removable Silencer Silver Black (long-42MM, Silver)

I have a full micron system on my R1 and if i am coming home late at night i don't want to wake up all my neighbours so i've been looking for a removable db killer for some time. The great thing about this is that if you do have a loud can you can reduce the volume in a couple minutes and then remove it when you're out for a sporty day or just want it loud again. It's easy to fit, just drill a hole in the exit spout of your exhaust can, insert the baffle and tighten the bolt to secure it in place. The quality is ok. It's held together by a few spot welds, but that's all that's needed and stops too much back pressure. This is steel with a zinc coating. The colour looks off to be stainless. There is also an additional optional cap for extra sound reduction. Performance wise this makes a big difference and really makes the bike more sociable when sneaking home. Good quality and value. Again you have sent me a 42mm Dia instead of the 45mm Dia I ordered, that’s twice now. The end had been squashed out of shape, had to rectify before I could even measure it. Welds inconsistent and metal burrs evident. I will request refund ‘again’ and get one from somewhere else!!! Very dissatisfied with service and product!

It worked to pass the MOT but it desintegrated shortly after. The paint on it melted and started to smoke.

Rusts very quickly.

Might do for a quick fix. But there are far better options out there.
