Our son needs medication in the night, and he simultaneously has the loudest creaking door known to man. Think 80s scary movie loud. It wakes him up every time 🤦‍♀️.Bought this and voila! I have to suspend my disbelief to some extent that I'm actually reviewing a doorstop. What has Lockdown done to us all?Nevertheless, this is probably the best doorstop I've ever owned. In a quiet way, it could even be said to be something of a design classic. I bought it several months ago on the basis of positive reviews (so there's a whole community of doorstop reviewers out there; who knew?), and it hasn't disappointed. It's lightweight, resilient (still showing no signs of wear & tear after daily use over a period of several months) and it just does the job with no fuss whatsoever, even on my notoriously slippy office floor which has been something of a Doorstop Graveyard in the past. And for those who are sufficiently interested to take a closer look (a minority admittedly, I suspect), it actually looks quite cool too; plus it's cheap. Definitely recommended.

This might be the best door stop.When using this as intended, it makes it difficult for people to pull the door shut.The door stop is very sturdy too.

The media could not be loaded.  No good using as recommended if you have a deep pile carpet, the door pushes the stopper down into the pile and then rides over it. It works better if used like a traditional stopper, pushed under the back of the door instead of the side, but the door can still quite easily be moved.It is well made and if it works on your flooring then it's good value, but it's not much use to me where I was going to use it.
