Authentic Panettone in Tin (Chocolate) (Chocolate, 750 Grams)

Excellent. Cannot understand why a couple of people here said it was 'dry'. Mine was a little on the fresh and moist side, which is how panettone should be. Those complainers who waste food by throowing it away just because it wasn't quite as they expected it either have never eaten real panettone like this before and don't know what they're talking about or are 'plants' by higher-priced vendors to discredit this excellent product.

I HAVE ONLY RECENTLY OPENED THIS TIN AND LOVE THIS PANETTONE. AFTER I HAVE CUT A WEDGE, I PUT IT IN THE MICROWAVEFOR A FEW SECONDS AND IT IS DELICIOUS. ALSO MAKES A VERY TASTY ALTERNATIVE TO BREAD FOR A BREAD AND BUTTER PUDDING. OFTEN ADD APRICOTS OR OTHER FRESH FRUIT RATHER THAN DRIED FRUIT.

Third one I have bought in the last five years. First one was amazing, probably the best I'd had: moist, flavoursome, and rich in fruit. The second was utterly disappointing, dry and with hardly any fruit (so it ended up in a bread and butter pudding). This one is good, moist, with a nicely flavoured dough, although it could have done with more fruit and slightly more cooking. The inconsistency in quality is quite disappointing from such a historical and well respected brand (think Amaretti biscuits). P.s. tin came in perfect condition, although this is all for me...

I lived in Italy for four years. This cake is popular in Italy. This brand in particular is in most supermarkets, and is not expensive. This is the real thing, from Milan. Some people have claimed it is dry. Well, it might be dry to you, but it's texture and moisture is exactly as it should be for this cake. I can't recall ever having eaten a very moist cake in Italy.I've bought many of these over the years. The quality has been very consistent. The ones I have bought in the UK have bene the same. They keep for a while, and are sealed in the tin anyway, so they don't dry out in transit from Italy. This cake is exactly as a panettoni should be. Enjoy!

Please be aware this product is only 750g. Very disappointed as I was expecting 1kg given product description. Seller unhelpful and dismissive saying it was my fault that I made an 'assumption' about the size. Will not use them again

Quite disappointed. Tin lovely and item well packaged, but the Panettone itself seemed very dry, almost 'stale' in my opinion; surprising given a use by date 9 months in the future. Ate the first couple of pieces and then ended up throwing the remainder away as unsuitable to eat. Contacted the seller to inform them of the quality issue but received no reply, not even to acknowledge the issue.

Fantastic panettone! Full of flavour, light and delicious! Being stored in its beautiful tin, it also helped to maintain the moisture.I am a panettone fan (can't bake one but recognise a good one) and in all honesty this is 10/10!!!Of course I will also recycle the tin, probably as a Biscuits tin, and I am already thinking of ordering an other one!It's quite pricy, but you can't put price on quality!, pay for what you get!! Try it, and you'll be not disappointed!

**edit- my 3rd purchase of this item in 2 years***Someone at work had one to share out, and it was delicious so I had to indulge.Delivered the next day and delicious- moist and chocolatey. The tin had a few superficial dents but that’s to be expected I think- plus adds ‘character’. Will be a useful storage tin for cakes & biscuits
