This product has earned my time reviewing it.
This vacuum has performed flawlessly, with respect to everything. That never ever happens to me. I rarely review, but Shark has earned it.I have a German Shepherd/Pit Bull hybrid. He takes after the German Shepherd when it comes to shedding. It amazes me, every year, how much hair he has. When he walks by, and happens to be in a sunbeam, you can watch the hair falling off his body. This vacuum said it had a self-cleaning roller. I usually “grain of salt” those types of claims as just marketing lies. After two weeks of use, and several times emptying the base, I needed to take the roller out. There was no hair at all. To be fair, he’s a short hair, but we also have a Maine Coon cat; he’s long hair and no slouch at shedding. What I can say for sure is this: I cannot imagine anybody having a complaint about this machine if it is functioning the way it is intended. The negative reviews seem to be with regard to Customer Service, connectivity, legitimate programming glitches, and perceived programming glitches.I’ve seen a couple of reviews that say their machine bumbled around hitting things over and over. They may well be right. In that case, the programming may be glitchy. [This is where the less-than-stellar reviews come in: customer service, something I’ve not experienced] A different one would likely fix it.I am of the opinion that some reviewers have created their own bumbling robot. The machine makes a map of your house and uses it every time it cleans. Mine knows where things are with impressive precision. But, if you move something, like a chair, then yeah, to get around and vacuum close to what the robot thinks is an obstacle, it’s going to use its front “feeler” bar.Once, my wife accidentally kicked the robot off its stand during the middle of the day. To our surprise and on its own, the robot got back on his stand.Works in the dark, quiet enough to sleep while it is vacuuming hard wood floors.I couldn’t be happier.

Works well. Intelligent machine. Cannot leave it unplugged at all. Self empties. Does everything it is listed to do. For a full carpet home, may need to vacuum independently unless you are having the vacuum run constantly. It works well on a full carpet home, is durable, hasn’t gotten caught on wires ;sensitive to surroundings, easy to set up.

Really cleans!
Amazing! Does a really good job, manages to transition from wood to carpet with no problem. Gives the cats plenty of entertainment. Only slight negative is it needs to go back to its station to recharge after only about a couple hours of cleaning and the recharge takes about three hours.

This is a low quality shark!
This is a low quality shark!I already have a 2-in-1 and love it. The suctioning power is fantastic and it can clean perfectly any carpet - mine is a deep pile carpet, so I needed a good vacuum cleaner. As I have two different floors, decided saving buying this version as I thought the quality would be the same…. It was only an illusion! In the first run I noticed that the attachment of the side brush was cheap and weird, making a terrible noise. After the first run the side brush was completely wasted and looked like it was used more than 100 times already.I decided to do a new test on the second day.I programmed it to run while I was at work. When I returned, the robot was without the front wheel (how in the world did it happen?) and stuck somewhere in the house.I gave up and decided to return it! Now I am buying another 2-in-1 even if I am not using the mop :) it is only $70 more - I know $70 is a lot off money, but how much your time worth as I had to wrap it back, take it to UPS and wait to get refunded….Think twice before buying it. It is rubbish!

Time saving robot vacuum!
I really love my shark matrix! It cleans hard floor very well, also cleans my rugs. The thin rugs will get twisted or turned around but the regular rugs are fine. I love that I can schedule clean! It isn’t very loud. This saves me so much time with nearly all hard wood floors in Texas - where dust and leaves just materialize. I also like that it empties itself out each time, and I only need to empty the reservoir container once a week or every other week. It is a generous sized container. It looks nice and sleekThe only issue I’ve had is that I’ve had to reset the shark matrix once and I’ve had to map the floors four times. I’m not sure why but it seems to be a common issue that many users experience- found this out while researching online. It just seems to forget the rooms that I’ve named and mapped out. Mapping is pretty easy for me you just put the lines around the “room” and then name them. That way you can have the shark matrix vacuum specific rooms.Overall a strong recommend!!!
