Very useful
Good fit for my EOS RP. I am able to access all of the ports and the battery compartment. The articulated screen is restricted but I expected that. It is quite heavy but looks well made and I am happy with my purchase.

Bought for Nikon Z8 - it works really well, but...
I wanted to get an L bracket just to make it quicker and easier to change the camera between horizontal and portrait when on a tripod. I'd seen lots of other L brackets of varying prices, some as much as 10 x the cost of this one, but couldn't quite work out why. This was bought for a Nikon Z8. I'm pleased to say it was a good purchase, for me. It works really well for the intended use, it's solid and feels reliable and well made. Just be aware that in order to make sure it fits snugly without moving around, you will need to use an allen key (it comes with one) or similar to screw it on tight enough. Fingers alone probably won't be good enough unless you're much stronger than me. PLEASE BE AWARE, however, as this is just a generic design, it's not mapped to any particular camera, so as with the pictures above, all the ports on the left of the Nikon Z8 are not accessible when it is attached. That doesn't bother me at all as I'm only ever using it for landscape photography with a tripod. However, if you need easy access to the ports, you will need to buy a bracket tailored for your particular camera.

Almost perfect
Canon 5D series and different (arca swiss) ball heads. Works perfect. Feels very sturdy and it does the job. It does get in the way of the remote trigger but the simple solution is to slide it a bit to the side to make enough space (or use the 5d IV :) ). I was hoping to use my current blackrapid screw but unfortunately it does not fit. I did some research and this one had the potential to work but unfortunately it didn't. It does have a place to screw it but it just sticks out from the bottom (see picture). It does the trick but it's not ideal. The provided screw is ok but nowhere near the quality of blackrapid. I tried other screws but they also don't fit (manfrotto). This is why I give 4 stars as I would like to be able to use other screws that give me more peace of mind. Overall I'm very pleased with this bracket and is definitely good value.

Great bracket at reasonable price
A reasonably priced and well made and finished L bracket. I use it on a Fuji X-T5 and it works well and protects the base of the camaera. You do have to be careful aligning it not to obstruct the battery door.

Amazing value
I don't often write product reviews but when I think the item is either excellent or rubbish, then I will. This is five star excellent. It fits my Canon 5D MkIII exactly, leaving access to the ports on left hand side of the camera when looking from the back. (Remote shutter release is, for me, the important one). It fits my Canon 1DX, but because the camera is "taller" the hinged rubber covers will not open, denying access to those ports. I'm not worried about this because I bought the L-Bracket for my 5D rather than the 1DX. There are two screws at the ends of the Arca-style plates. These can be nipped up gently with an Allen hex key when the bracket is in situ to make the fit on the camera really tight. I didn't buy the cheapest bracket. My fear was that these would be sloppily engineered using soft metal. This Pig Iron bracket is the real deal and cheaper than some. A quibble? There's got to be a quibble. The corners near the joining of the two pieces to form the "L" could have been gently rounded. They are not sharp or dangerous, but do feel slightly uncomfortable in the palm of the hand. Having said that, the bracket, camera and lens will be on top of a tripod when in action so that minor quibble can probably be ignored.

Works with Nikon Z50 including FTZ adaptor
When I was researching L-Brackets for my NikonZ50, I came across a lot of discussion on whether the bracket works with the Z50 when using the FTZ adaptor. So I can confirm it's not possible to leave the L-Bracket on the camera base, when the FTZ adaptor is fitted due to a slight interference with the lower 1/4" mounting point on the FTZ. However the Pig-iron L-Bracket does fit onto the FTZ - as with any tripod plate, the L-Bracket must be moved from the camera 1/4" mount, to the FTZ 1/4" mount and back when your swapping from Z to F-mount lenses. The L-Bracket can be positioned to provide access to all the Z50 ports and battery door. I'm very pleased with the quality of the Pig-Iron product, the machining is excelent and the Arca Swiss interface perfectly with my ball-head providing a very secure mount. I really can't see how anyone can justify spending five times the price when the Pig-Iron L-bracket is so good.

Good quality, sturdy Arca-Swiss L bracket. Simplifies tripod work
Usually, something 'designed for all' has shortcomings. This L-bracket fits my Fujifilm X-H1 very well - it has a sturdy fixing screw and - best of all - the screw hole in the plate is actually slotted, allowing the side bracket to be positioned about 15mm from the body, which allows the USB & HDMI terminals to be accessed. Also, in this position it's easy to open the battery compartment door. I've found an extra use for it as well - with a tiny magnet super-glued into the recess by the screw slot and another super-glued to the outer end of the hot shoe cover, the cover can be securely kept on the camera when using a flash or sender. The number of times I've mislaid a hot shoe cover ... !

Adequate temporary solution
I wanted an L-bracket in a hurry for my new Nikon Z5ii. My main need was to have a strap attachment point underneath the camera. The Pig Iron bracket arrived next day, fits the camera and provides the strap attachment, so it serves the immediate purpose. Besides those things, positives are: - It has a D-ring on the tripod screw so you don't need tools or a coin to mount or remove the bracket from the camera or tighten it up. - It fits well and does not interfere with opening and closing the monitor screen. - It definitely works as an Arca-Swiss mount L bracket. - Bargain price and the general quality seems good. The negatives that make it a temporary solution for me are: - The camera twists a little on the bracket while I'm walking around. It don't suppose the camera is ever going to come off the bracket, but it bothers me and it makes me think that it could allow the camera to droop just a bit when using the bracket in portrait orientation on a tripod. - The outside corner of the bracket has a sharp angle. It digs into the heel of my palm when I hold the camera and it digs into my hip when the camera is hanging by my side. The second of these is the more uncomfortable. I may try filing it to round the corner off. Negatives that may bother others: - The bracket prevents tilting the screen if you flip it all the way open. So shooting low down or high up using the screen will be difficult or impossible. - The bracket allows access to the microphone and headphone sockets but blocks the door for the USB and HDMI connectors.

Ottimo !
Ok
