Timex Men's Expedition North Sierra 40mm Watch - Black Strap Green Dial Silver-Tone Case

I don’t understand the reviews stating it’s big, uncomfortable and cheap. This is a nice watch and just the right size. The band is perfect.

The media could not be loaded. I was worried that a 40mm would be too small for my 7.25 inch wrist, but it wears quite well. The tick is barely audible. The strap seems well made(like a thicker version of seatbelt material). It has a cool "timex" buckle made out of stainless steel. I read some reviews where some people said the watch was too big. It definitely wears large for a 40mm. The size of the dial window in relation to the rest of the case makes it appear larger than it is. I know that doesn't seem to make sense, but if a 40mm had a large bezel like a diver would and a smaller dial window this would make the watch appear smaller in comparison. Overall I'm very happy with it. Can't beat it for the price.

A great looking watch, and you can't beat a Timex for a kick around watch.Keeps exact time... I did have a brown watch strap put on it.

For the price, this watch isn’t bad at all.40mm across, 11mm thick, 20mm lug width; the dimensions are comfortable, and should suit a wide range of wrist sizes, and with it having a universal lug width, the possibilities for strap combinations are virtually endless.I know Timex isn’t exactly known for their quality; loud tick, stiff leather strap, cheap feeling case, and the seconds hand doesn’t land flush with every minute marker, for example. But that’s okay. It’s an unpretentious watch, no bells and whistles, no fancy complications…it’s an every day watch, and with 100m WR, it’s definitely enough for daily wear. The indiglo for me, is the cherry on top of the cake.So for about the price of a decent pair of sneakers, you get a solid watch that’s capable of keeping up with your every day life.

Needed a sturdy watch to wear doing household and yard work. Exceeded my expectations. Sturdy construction, good look, comfortable band. Great price on Prime Days .. Very satisfied

The band is WAY too stiff, barely bends, and is very uncomfortable. The ticking can be heard from across the room. I’d return it if I wasn’t past the window.

I bought this watch in hopes that it would be my daily driver. But after wearing it for a few days I had to return.The Pros:-I LOVE the colors of the watch face.-Easy to read.That’s pretty much it. Now for the cons:-It’s loud (just as loud as the $30 ones)-It’s heavy-The band is pretty stiff, it’s not comfortable.-The hands didn’t luminate for me (I even tried leaving it the sun and placing a light directly on it thinking I needed it just needed to “break in”, but that didn’t work)- The Indiglo light would turn on automatically without me pressing it, I had to turn the dial to turn it off. This issue could be a one-off though.
