I got this dog harness in small for my little (jackawawa) chiwawa, jack russel cross, he’s bigger than a chiwawawa but smaller than jack russel and it fits him perfectly. It’s made of very soft material but is nice and sturdy. It supports his little body nicely. The velcro fastening makes it really easy to get on and off and the straps on the back were the lead attaches to come from the shoulders so if he pulls on the lead the pressure is evenly distributed and he doesn’t get choked. Also he has been very fussy with other harnesses in the past but took to this one straight away.

best harness for a small dog i have come across,it looks very comfortable and i cant see it rubbing anywhere,it doesn't pull on his neck,nor is it too long so it doesn't fasten round his belly, its an excellent fit ...and extremely easy to fasten., easy to wash, and looks very durable...it is very adjustable in case your dog loses/gains an inch or two...its also very adjustable, the leg holes are not too wide as some are,so they wont chafe when he is running, nor are they stupidly large as on some others,we have it for a VERY small chihuahua, so got xs, which on the smallest setting fits perfect,, most are too long/bulky ...but not this one....seen a few reviews complaining about sizing, which is crazy, if you have a tape measure and MEASURE your dog, it WILL fit.....some on here moaning its too loose/tight, its got plenty of adjustment, so a bit of care and its great, the double D lead fittings are good and have a clasp also, its not an adjustment clasp its just a safety feature, so it doesnt need to adjust.......i am tempted to buy a spare but tbh, i think it will last a long long time......

Yorkie already in the family but it DID seem to be a reasonably good product. The click-and-secure fastening was fairly robust and the harness itself is lovely and padded/foamy (so is presumably comfortable for the dog to wear). The only thing I wasn't sure about was whether, on a dog it was actually the right size for, it would still gape slightly under the chin, once fastened; it seemed to have a slight tendency not to 'hug' the dog's chest as I felt it should. It's quite expensive for what it is - but for any real dog-lover who wants comfort and security for their pet, I can't imagine this would be a barrier (after all - I was prepared to pay the price, IF it had only been as small as I needed!) Oh well - back to the drawing board (going to try someone's suggestion of a Ferret harness; maybe that will be closer to the size we need?!)

This product was exactly what I needed and in fact so happy with it that I came back to order a second one in case the first is wet or dirty it left somewhere. I was introducing a Malchi (Maltese / Chihuahua cross) to my family and had no idea what size he was going to be at 8 weeks. The fact that this is a Velcro fastening meant that the harness fitted well then and is still fitting well as he grows. I had friends who bought harnesses with fastenings which meant their dogs slipped out easily but this has never happened to me. It also looks good - definitely recommend.

I am reviewing the medium harness. The small size was just too small for Teddy, our eleven month old Shih Tzu, so I ordered the medium which arrived less than twenty four hours later. It is very easy to put on. Teddy hated squeezing his head into his previous harness, but this one is just front paws step in, fasten Velcro and snap buckle together. The material is soft and well cushioned, but sturdy, and I love the colour (blue).

This harness was the only one so far (after trying all in a pet shop!) that fits well our 8 month shih tzu as it wraps around the body. I got the purple medium size for her and she is around 6.5kg. It looks very smart on her and appears to be of steady material that will last (we use it for about a month now). It seems to be the best harness for the car. It is like the dog is constantly wrapped in air bags!There are some negatives though hence the 3 stars.One is that is quite bulky to run in it and for a good run I have to take it off. Also the straps are very long and off the lead the dog finds itself in a constant noise of jiggling sound over her head as they move about. You may notice depending on the size of your dog that while running the straps may be also hitting your dog back of the neck! This is why I have sewn them shorter! In addition, although it says it is breathable, the material is very dense and there are no air pockets and I am sure in spring/summer this would be too hot for the dog. Because of all the padding and this dense material when the harness gets wet it takes much longer to dry than other harnesses.Apart from all these negatives it does what it says on it 'comfort fit'. It would take more stars if the straps were adjustable and if it can be worn summer as well.

Excellent product. The harness has Velcro fittings as well as a clasp, so very secure (but can be released quickly if necessary). I have a small puppy (12 week old miniature schnauzer) and she has only just started going for walks. The harness fits really well, is comfortable and she is walking nicely on it (it gives good control and avoids pulling on her neck). I particularly like the fact that you don't need to push her head through it (which seems the case with a number of other harnesses I looked at) - so its really easy to put on and take off (even with a wriggly puppy)

We’ve gotten one before for our dog and she just outgrew it so we got the next size up. It’s very comfortable for her and the built quality is very good. Yes it traps a lot of her hair on it and you have to clean the Velcro out once in a while but it’s such a good harness that we prefer this (and our dog enjoys wearing this) more than some of the very expensive harnesses out there like the Kong.

I have a 3 month old yorkie who weights about 4.5 pounds and has a chest girth of about 12.5 inches. I tried a few other harnesses that were in his chest size range, but they didn't quite fit right, or were a pain to put on, adjust, and take off. This harness is excellent and the X-small size fits nicely.Pros:- Only have to place puppies front legs through holes, wrap around him, stick velcro together, and clip. Super easy.- The harness is very soft and has great padding throughout. The arm holes and around the neck have a little rounded padding piece that runs around the circumference of the holes to keep it soft and from rubbing too much.- The harness doesn't necessarily prevent your dog from pulling, but when he does he doesn't hurt his little throat.- There are 2 D hooks to put the leash through which helps keep the leash from falling off from one side or the other and pulling the harness with it.- It is easy to hand wash and air dry.Cons:- It isn't suffocating, but it probably could be a little more breathable. Not a big deal since I take it off of my dog every night.- The chest/neck area is a little big, but it doesn't seem to hinder my dog from sleeping or moving in any position that he wants.If this harness ever becomes worn out, or he outgrows it, I will definitely be purchasing a replacement.
