Good deal ukulele package.
Okay quality for the price. I purchased the black colour because, for me, the other colours are a bit too bright for my taste.Four stars because, although the quality is good there is one flaw in my example being that one of the string adjuster holes has been drilled slitely off entire of 90 degeas to the headstock. This in no way detracts from the playability of the ukulele, but it reflects in the price, so I really can't expect perfection. This is something I can fix myself at a later time. The bag is is useful as a means to stop the ukulele getting scratched, but there is no padding to prevent deng's and knocks, but at least it is better than nothing. Unusually there is a tail block fitted inside the ukulele, so I can fit a strap button to the body and kneck of the ukulele. This is a good feature not usually fitted to uke's at this price point; five stars for this addition. Tuning pegs are just push fitted to the tuning mechanism, but I can put a drop of super glue on these to make them secure ( an adult should do this fix ).Overall paint quality is good too; nice shiny finish. If there is a flaw in this then l would sent it back for a replacement. For me there is nothing worse than seeing a blemish is the finnish of an ukulele. No marker dots on the fretboard, but there are dots on the side of the fretboard, strangely. This can easily be fixed using fretboard decals/stickers.Is it good for beginners? Yes, but this size (21 inch) is more suitable for children or someone of small stature. A larger concert (23 inch) or tenor (26 inch) size is better for an adult. Is it easy to learn to play? Well this is all down to how much effort you put into learning. The thing to do is practice learning cords and simple songs at first. The most important thing is to play and learn for your OWN ENJOYMENT and NOT to learn to impress or show-off to others. You will not be great at first, but don't let people put you off as you will soon be playing nice simple songs with practice. Ukulele is to enjoy just for the pleasure of playing. Is this ukulele good value for money? Yes; most definitely is good value and I have no hesitation in recommending it as a low cost beginners instrument. I play tenor and baritone ukulele and have a couple of concert size ukuleles just for the tone difference. I must admit that the only reason I purchased this ukulele is because it comes with over 2,000 pages of ukulele songs. But having said that, I would recommend this as a first venture into playing the ukulele as the price and quality are worth it.

Great for beginnners
Great for beginners, couple downsides the strings aren't the best quality which means the ukulele is constantly un-tunning itself and it doesn't have a loop to attach a strap to the bottom so you'll need to buy and drill your own nib

Great little piece of kit
It's not bad at all to play,it's pleasant on the ears, but it does feel a little cheap. The carry case is not bad at all. Overall fairly pleased.

This is fabulous
My 5 year old asked for a pink guitar for Christmas, I was not sold on the idea, wasn’t sure I would even find one! but wanting to keep with the magic of Christmas and as this was a request made to Father Christmas we got it. I am really impressed, the sound is enjoyable to listen to even when played by children just wanting to play for fun, we have all had a go. It is well made I have no idea if it is in tune or not but it is perfect for what we need. This is not an instrument that will becoming annoying (unlike the recorder and trumpet we have!!!)

Great ukulele - have bought two now (one for young son and one for me)
I originally purchased one of these for my son, who was five or six years old at the time. The idea was that we wanted him to learn the guitar, but rather than getting a junior guitar, we received lots of recommendations from friends and music teachers to try out a ukulele. The reason being that it is generally easier to handle for a child and easier to learn, which would create the foundation to progress to guitar if desired later.Anyway, he has been using it for over 18 months now and it has been great. The Malani ukulele has been reliable and no issues at all with quality. It was easy to tune with a cheap electric tuner and after the strings have bedded in after a few re-tunes, it is pretty much pick up and play and has been great for my son. He is now able to play songs and read music himself with the ukulele. He has the orange one which looks really cool. The quality of the ukulele is great and the different variety of colours is really nice and appealing for different preferences. He hasn't had any problems at all with the Uke and I was very impressed for the price.Given the current coronavirus situation, I decided to try and learn as well and bought a second Uke. I ordered a black one and have started to learn. It is a pleasure to play with and whilst I am literally starting from scratch, the Uke is a nice instrument to use and consistent in quality. One small point I would make is that I do not know what a "top class" Uke looks and feels like, so I have no other comparison. However, for the price and from first hand experience, these are really nice and works for children and adults alike.Highly recommended.

Perfect
I like this ukelele, it comes with a video on how to stretch the strings to insure it stays in tune and you can just tune it with a simple app, you also get videos for free on how to play and learn some songs. Personally i think it has been great for starting ukelele.

Great little ukulele for learning.
At this price, it's 5 star. (I paid £22.99)Great gift for kids: Cheap enough to wreck yet looks and plays like a proper grown-up instrument. It was really easy to learn a few chords the first day and start singing along to my fav songs. You can find many song chords etc online. The chord chart and book are simple and clear to follow for learning and reference and the chart is pretty enough to hang on the wall (although you'll need to print it).Excellent service from the seller (Melodic Moose). I couldn't be happier with this purchase.Note: You might need the next size up if you have chunky fingers.
