Heavy duty spikes, absolutely perfect and have thrown our old plastic ones away

I so wanted these shoes to work as I needed to aerate two large lawns but I wouldn’t recommend them. The product is well built and sturdy. Easy to attach to shoes (make sure you wear trainers or boots and not Crocs 🤔) The spikes are easy to attach. If unable to click the spikes in with ease make sure you are using the correct end of the tool supplied. However, when walking in them it was like having your boots stuck in mud where you topple over leaving the boot behind. After many attempts I found a pronounced heel toe movement assisted and I was able to walk very slowly with them on. Can’t say I will use them again and will return to the trusted fork. That said it provided much entertainment to my wife watching me go bottom over top several times.

Very impressed. One thing that let this review down. Missing spares on the spikes. Rest i am happy with.

The straps broke on the first day

Got these so I would be able to walk on freshly laid fiberglass and they do serve this purpose well. However because spikes are so high and they are both left feet shoes, it is easy to loose balance and trip over . The buckle just gets in the way. So I had to stop using them. They are plastic and spikes metal and also supplied with extra spikes and tool. I don't have high hopes for longevity as really rigid brittle plastic. Spikes are good large size.

It's very dangerous as you walk around you don't notice the spikes you've lost along the way. Can't walk barefoot or let the kids play on the grass until we find all the spikes in case we step on them

El tamaño de largo también es ajustable. En mi caso calzo un 40 y no he tenido que aumentar su tamaño.En general buen producto, no le doy las 5 estrellas porque una de las púas no se enganchaba correctamente. Creo que si el sistema fuera de rosca se evitaría las pérdidas de las mismas. Never had a pair aerator shoes, and when these came available, I thought I'd give them a try. They went on with little trouble, and once I adjusted the front and rear strap, I was ready to go. If you've never used this type of tool before, it took some getting used to at first. I made sure my lawn was watered and almost immediately, the shoes penetrated the law all of the way down. I had to pick my foot straight up, which is normal I suppose. Once I got the hang of it, maneuvering in these shoes wasn't a big deal. I was wondering about the extra spikes that were provided, but that mystery was solved when I was finished and I noticed I was missing a spike. Since it's basically a nail, I knew is wasn't going to be laying horizontally in the grass, so didn't bother looking too hard for it. Once concern, and I hope I am wrong; but I'm concerned with the plastic-like straps and latches that hold the shoes on. I'm concerned that they are the weak link, and with the constant pressure put on the shoes when you raise your feet for each step, I'm concerned with their longevity. Since I only intend to aerate my lawn twice a year or so, I would hope these last for quite a few years.
