Love these - turn them on and leave them on, even under porch, they shut off at the correct time (enough light, they turn off), even in back with one of those shaded covers...these are great, buying more for backups, i hope they last a long while, that is to be determined...I've noticed many bulbs like this have a lot of cool features, but burn out quicker than one would hope. (keeping fingers crossed)p.s., i have two fairly close (about 1-2 feet on each side of front door, no issues at all)Update: 4/30, purchased - approaching September these work VERY well. I never touch em just turn em in and let them do their work...VERY happy with these.

I purchased these to replace the current out door lights I had which consisted of yellow bug CFL bulbs and separate dusk to dawn sockets. As we all know, the bug lights don't work, and over time the duck to dawn sockets fail. And they did. I wanted a bulb that was both an LED bulb with an integrated duck to dawn feature. These fit the bill perfectly. They are well built, very easy to install and work flawlessly. The price was very reasonable as well. I would reccomend these to anyone that wants to get rid of the seperate duck to dawn socket extension. Here's an additional benefit. For some reason, these lights do not attract nearely as many bugs as the "bug" light di, so that is an added bonus!

I put these bulbs into my front outdoor lights. They are working well and look good. I was slightly concerned about the light by the front door as I have a covered area there and I wasn’t sure if there would be a problem sensing the time to turn on and off properly but it has been perfect. They are bright. One of the reasons I wanted these is in the winter I frequently leave for work before it’s light and get home when it’s dark. So I will be able to have lights on as I come and go. Love them!

These bulbs turn out better than what I was expecting. My outside garage lights' auto dim function stop working but these bulbs saved the day. Price is a bit higher that what they sell at either Lowes or Home Depot but its very comparable with what it does. They're more bright white than soft/warm whites when lit. They were delivered as promised. I've only have them for a month so I can't speak for their longevity but for now, am happy with my purchase.

I installed this product outside but in a sheltered porch area. An area that normally would keep a light on all day on a cloudy day using normal screwed in photo sensors. This light goes off fairly early on a cloudy day and comes on after the sun sets and when it is getting darker. Both on and off at just the right time. The 1200 lumens do a good job of illumination.

I waited for a time to post a view to make an assessment regarding longevity. Well it's been at least two or three months and the first of two bulb is still functioning. Some of the reviews I read at time of purchase complained of vehicle headlights triggering sensors putting light out. Although my porch backs up to a parking lot, my unit has not had this problem.

These bulbs work well for us but certainly aren’t as bright as a 100 watt incandescent-more like a 75. (Yes, I compared them to some old incandescent bulbs we have). For our application that’s not a problem but if it is for you buy an imitation 125-150 watt bulb. If they last as long as advertised I’ll consider this a good buy.

I put these in two different retrofitted outdoor mercury vapor fixtures. They may not be quite as bright as a new mercury vapor bulb, but they draw far less amperage (electricity) and have much better color rendering.The automatic dusk/dawn sensor works flawlessly in both fixtures.
