Is it necessary? Maybe not 100% but I’ve been wanting to get one for ages. And once you use it there’s no going back. It’s another very pleasing part of the process. It feels heavy and solid and well made, and just leaves you with a beautiful flat dose of grounds ready for the tamp (just bought from same company).No regrets, only smiles.

A really well made tool, has a nice bit of weight to it. I find it levels the coffee perfectly ready for a tamp. The WDT and puck screen are also great from MHW-3Bomber. Highly recommend

Great weight. Pity about the logo
Feels so good in the hand. Lovely weight and nurling. Not a fan of the logo engraved in the top though.
