Exceeded Expectations! A True Game-Changer for Plastic Trim Restoration
I’ve tried countless products over the years to bring life back to the faded plastic trim on my car, but nothing truly delivered—until now. This colour restorer is simply incredible! From the moment I applied it, I knew it was in a league of its own.The results were nothing short of perfect. Every inch of trim looked brand new, with a deep, rich color that enhanced the car's overall appearance. What amazed me most was how easy it was to apply and how long-lasting the effect seems to be—even after rain and washing, the shine remains intact. If, like me, you've been left disappointed by other so-called "restorers," I highly recommend giving this product a try. It’s worth every penny and will save you money in the long run. Bravo to the makers of this product—you've earned a loyal customer.

brushed on then cloth buff up >30 mins to remove excess- it is oil based technology not a paint type
Great product - used it for reviving composite decking made a massive difference- easy to apply but did look a little patchy in paces where iv not quite caught all the wood grain effect - not sure if second coat would completely resolve havnt tried as it’s outdoors & a big area so it’s fine . Would recommend images show part done comparisons & it stays this colour when dried in.

Amazing product
Not one for leaving reviews but I am for this.We used this to try and restore the colour in our black composite front door. Wow what a difference this has made, the door looks brand new now. Just follow instructions, the only thing i would add is use a lint free cloth for applying and polishing.Great product well worth it.

It works
I have a red front door and due to the weather/sun the door was fading and going a white colour. I was desperate to fix this and came across this product. Easy to use, dries pretty quick and plenty left in tin after use. works wonders. And a lot cheaper than buying a new front door .

Very easy to get a fantastic improvement!
Used this on my twenty year old GRP garage doors; they are not in bad condition, just faded by sunlight. The surface finish is a wood grain effect. I cleaned the doors with a detergent solution and allowed to dry. I was a little concerned about the instructions to “wipe off excess” before the product dries, so decided to use a brush for application, bearing in mind that it needed to be worked into the grooves of the grain effect. I used a 2” Dulux Perfect Finish paintbrush as it has very soft bristle tips. Poured a little Polytrol into a small plastic tray and set off! It was very easy to apply using just a small amount on the brush tips. I brushed out, spreading the product thinly until I could see that the brush needed reloading; this way, I managed to avoid runs and didn’t seem to leave excess product on the surface. Obviously, the product cannot “recolour” the surface, but the effect is immediate - the surface glows and the appearance much improved with the grain effect more pronounced - see photos. I’m really pleased with the results and carried on to use it on our composite front door, which also had become dulled from weather effects. The product dries over a couple of days in warm weather and does feel a little tacky at first, but it soon hardens off. A few tips; don’t apply in the sun, in the warmer weather think about all the bits and pieces that float around and might land on your handiwork. Although I applied it in the early morning, I raised the doors to the open position during the first afternoon to protect from sunlight and allow to dry slowly. I would estimate that I used about a third of a 500ml tin to cover two doors of approx 4.2 square metres each, which is far better coverage than the 19 square metres per litre advised on the tin. There are no instructions for brush cleaning, however I found that soaking the brush in a strong detergent solution overnight; just don’t plan on using the brush again for gloss paint, it might do a couple more times for Polytrol. I also tried the product on 30+ years old rainwater down pipes that had gone from black to light gray and was surprised to see a great improvement - see photos. Final top tip - if you intend to keep the leftover product, clean the cap and spout well and apply a bit of Vaseline to the spout threads, otherwise you’ll struggle to get it off in the future!
