Wouldn’t recommend for saltwater…
The color and the protective coating of material around the braid quickly faded and left my chartreuse braid looking like a thin white string that kept getting thinner .

reliable and thin fused braid
This new Ultra fireline is thinner than its predecessor for the breaking strain, and aids long casting, I use it on my fixed spool surf cast reel and also my spinning reel! A shock leader is a must or you will cut your finger when using a heavy lead, i was impressed with the old fireline and thought it couldn't be improved but i was wrong! braid is not recommended for the novice angler and should be used with care!

Crap
Sent wrong strength I ordered 18lb got sent 14lb and its all frayed and snaps easily I'm very disappointed. Don't waste your money and get it from another supplier

Not what I expected for a braided line.
Super strong line not sure if it was worth the amount I paid (£25). Feels very strange for a braided line. Has a lot of memory. Which makes casting on a conventional reel a bit tricky. Think I will go back to my normal 4 braid line that I was using before.
