If you're looking for a simple, cheap, easy-to-read digital clock, look no further. This clock has a large display, with three brightness levels. It comes with a 1 metre USB cable, but you will need to provide a USB power supply. If the power fails, backup is via 3 AAA batteries - also not supplied.The setup instructions are minimal, but setup itself is pretty straightforward once you've understood what's involved. The 'Mode' button selects the required function, cycling through time, date, temperature and night-dim mode. Once the required function has been selected, holding down the 'Mode' button allows that function to be adjusted.Minor niggles? The USB cable is pretty short, and even on its dimmest setting the display is bright enough for daytime - it may be too bright for your bedroom if you like to sleep completely in the dark.One further comment: I found that one of my USB power supplies caused the display to flicker rather annoyingly. I suspect that was the problem with my cheap power supply: it works OK charging my iPhone but not with this clock.

Too bright at night. On lowest brightness but would suddenly go to brightest level early morning as in 3 am ish. Had to keep lying it down to stop the room being too bright. I did message the seller but had no reply. Now I see its too late to return.

Even on the dimmest setting this clock was way too bright for an adult bedroom. The numbers were big and easy to read, just too bright.
