Pack of five works out value for money, seem ok time will tell but happy for now.

I ordered this pack as I was moving home and needed to leave some lights in place for the new owners. These are perfect for the job. Bright enough and energy efficient at the same time.

Finally decided to get rid of the last few compact fluorescent bulbs in the house, so i bought this 5 pack to do that.It's a good job they are plastic and not glass bulbs, as they arrived in a large envelope style package which must have had other packages stacked on it, as the actual box the bulbs were in was squashed and 2 of the bulbs had been squeezed out of the box and were sitting in the bottom of the envelope.As i went around fitting them to the light fittings, all was well until i got to an old brass style pendant fitting, i plugged the bulb in, turned the switch on and ... nothing,Tried another bulb... nothing.Then i looked up the bulb fitting and saw that being an older brass style fitting is has slightly offset round pins for the contacts (Picture 1)These bulbs also have 2 round pins for their contacts (Picture 2)Where as most other bulbs have wider half moon shaped contacts (Picture 3)So the pins on these bulbs were not quite lining up with the pins in the fitting.I swapped out an older led bulb from another fitting which does have the half moon style contacts (Picture 3) and it worked fine in that old brass fitting,And i simply plugged one of these bulbs into the other fitting, which was a modern plastic bodied one with wider spring steel contacts.

They're ok and do the job. When it comes to led bulbs though I think I prefer the transparent glass ones, I think they give out better light
