I hate how good this is
Unfortunately the super expensive serum/ampoule combo is amazing and now sulwhasoo gets like all of my money forever

Great brightening cream
I have to admit when I first chose this cream to try, I did not expect it to really work. I was curious about the ginseng, so I thought I would give it a try. I am very surprised to tell you that I am noticing my skin is brighter after only a few days use. On the box it recommends you use twice a day. I have been using it in the morning and in the evening on clean skin. The cream melts into your skin nicely and spreads evenly. It is very moisturizing. I think the fragrance is some thing like an herbal scent. I attribute that mostly to the high content of ginseng. I know this is a very pricey cream, so I was very skeptical. But, I have to say that I think it is working. If your skin is looking dull and you’re noticing dark circles under your eyes, it might just be worth giving this cream a try.

Came to be a solid brand
Update: I'm glad to see Sulwhasoo is becoming better about adding to their pages. It's becoming, or has already become, a solid brand. It's too pricey for my budget, especially with the really great Korean skincare that's so much more affordable and has beautiful products, like: Beauty of Joseon, CosRx, Belif, Gangnam Glow, etc. But I now know a lot more about K-Beauty and about this brand than I did when I first tried this; along with the benefits of ginseng for some skin. My skin loves it but I use Beauty of Joseon ginseng products that work just as well. Still, I added a star.----------Original review below-----------So, Sulwhasoo wants me to pay over $200 ($124 an ounce) for this product but there is hardly any information on the product or the company/brand on the Amazon page, or when you click on the brand name it does not take you to a site so you can read up on it. I don't want to have to google a company to find out what I'm buying, especially for premium pricing. Even cheaper brands that I use have better Amazon pages with lots of information so I can make an informed consumer choice. (Update - I see they are providing more information now - I also am seeing this brand mentioned more on beauty sites, so I am watching this brand with interest.)This is a nice serum that's lightweight - more of a mid-thin lotion than a serum feel.Once on my skin, it doesn't feel any softer or satiny. I don't really feel any difference but it's the ingredients that count but since they do not provide the ingredients, how am I to make a choice based on information for my skin? I gave up trying to find the ingredients. There was a little brightening when I first apply it. It has an herbal scent, which I don't mind. I think it may be a really good brand and product, but it's hard to know without more information.I would be willing to try other items from this brand as I am beginning to see its presence more on beauty sites so that I can know more about it. I would like to try their cleansing oil and maybe another serum. But I'm still debating - again, more information please! And until they do better with ingredients lists and other information, I am on the fence.

Excellent Anti-Aging Ingredients In This Formula
I really like what this concentrated ginseng serum does for my middle-age, dry face. End results are brighter skin (because of the ingredient Melasolv™ in this formula) and added firmness (which is what the ingredient Ginsenomics™ helps improve). The serum absorbs well and blends nicely with an added moisturizer and cream make-up.Every Amorepacific facial product I’ve tried has been worth it. This particular formula is ideal for those who want to boost hyaluronic production, improve wrinkles and tone down skin redness. I’m very pleased with results.

Melasolv skin brightening agent is well known for fading spots and brightening skin
The active ingredient, Melasolv, has been used in skin care products for decades. It is a studied and well known effective ingredient for fading spots and brightening skin. It will take several weeks to see a change but it will happen if you continue to use this product twice daily. Be sure to be very proactive in using sunscreen so you don't hamper lightening progressI like the soft feel of the serum and it absorbs completely without leaving my face sticky. It also provides moisture to my skin but I still follow up with skin cream and separate sunscreen. The scent is a bit earthy. Overall, I like it a lot!

Will it work??
I'm not sure I can see a huge difference, but I also haven't used all of this. I do like the scent, it doesn't linger and isn't too strong. The serum feels slippery and moisturizing and seems to absorb well. It can be used under makeup. I normally don't spend this much on face products but if it WOWS me (and time will tell), we will see if it's worth the cost.

Earthy green then floral
Skin products are personal. I have combination fairly dry skin, some fine lines, and get lovely breakouts on my chin. This product nicely moisturizes so that I only have to apply a light gel cream over it. The scent starts out very earthy green, melts into a light earthy floral, and does not continue to have much of a scent after 20 minutes or so.I’m not certain about brightening or renewing- my spouse has commented on the fact that my skin looks good.

Smooth and Glowing
While this does initially have a strong smell it fades almost immediately and isn't too noticeable. Another thing to note is this serum has the appearance and texture of a lotion almost, it isn't as liquidy or translucent as serums from the US. I honestly quite like this as this one doesn't leave my skin greasy or sticky like many of those said US serums. I'm not entirely sure if this is worth the price but it has made my skin super smooth and really makes it glow. The ginseng extract really has helped with discoloration on my skin and has really made a difference.
